One of the most famous street foods in Naples, the Pizza Fritta. A classic pizza dough filled with cheeses and Salami or Mortadella then folded in have and closed like a pocket, like a Calzone and then deep fried.
Here are the Ingredients:
Pizza dough (for 4 large pizzas):
425 gr of all purpose flour
250 gr of water at room temp
15 gr of fine salt
5 gr of Fresh yeast (2 gr dry yeast)
For the filling:
250 gr of Ricotta
100 gr Mozzarella
100 gr Salami or Mortadella
Fresh tomatoes
fresh Basil leaves
Salt, Pepper and Olive Oli
