Thank you for this! Between you and Learn to Play you both really helped me wrap my head around this. I feel like the rule book puts “key” information in odd places. Funny story, I missed the epic monster icon/rule and accidentally chose 3 epic monsters in my first game. Had to do a hard reset pretty quickly🤣

One Stop Co-op Shop a cheap picture frame lined with felt would do the job. I sometimes just use the box lid from one deck dungeon as it compact and and pretty deep.

if you kill a putrid on your space when its corrupted all characters gains one wound token ;) you missed this with the lucky melee kill at the end of the video

Doooood!!! Thanks for the video! I just finished painting all the starter models and saw your vid as a walk thru, it was perfect and made my gaming MUCH easie! I BARELY passed the first level on the first try but I mean by a bold frog's hair! Two Inspectors almost drowned and I got the damn statues lol. Definately watching you first help a LOT. Samuel has only two sanity tokens. He should take Jared to move one space first, then rest, and then move two space. If so, he only gets two sanity tokens.

Great thinking with knowing a character can go twice before enemy activation. I can see benefits in keeping the team together and spreading out.

I was thinking about what you said on "Five in Five" about flipping a room and not liking that you have to clear all the minis and tokens and I think I came up with a solution that would make the board look nicer too. Because all of the boards are either 2 areas or 4/5 (double sized tile) if I cut out similar shapes of plastic transparency foil (the type we used to use for presentations on overhead projectors) and then with a marker or ink color some of them blue, then you would have perfect overlays that you lay down on top of the room tiles first (blue = flooded, clear = not) and then when you have to flip a room tile you simply lift the foil with all of the stuff on it, flip the tile and put the foil back down. Whattayathink?

That’s a fun idea. Reminds me of when I used to lay big pieces of clear plastic over my ear games to make moving the chits and tokens easier.

If I were Jared, I would use the last two actions, move to the space where Ravenous are located, then shoot Putrid. I believe I can kill it. I have two bonus dice, I can throw 7 dice at a time.😂

I definitely did. With them being so small, I often forget them in play, so much so that I eventually made a variant where I don’t use them (which also makes the game a bit more survivable)

19:22 I have a doubt when decreasing your oxygen level of 3 in a single time (for example as the second icon threat on devourer track)... and you have "0" at that moment, how it works? i have to roll every die for every oxygen level lost or roll only the "-3" oxygen level ?

My understanding is that you roll for each individual decrease. The game is cruel!!
