As disappointed as I was about Dawn of Madness getting pushed back I am glad that the second printing at least brought some new stuff to the table that connects it. My copy of the original run is waiting for me at the post office! Cannot wait to get that bad boy open!

Extremely jealous that you have it already! Enjoy it! :D The new stuff looks great and I *love* that they are further expanding the lore with books and such. I wish more board game companies did this with their IP.

@@TheKingofAverage From what I have read of the rule books, the story is an absolute head trip. So much so that even I could not follow what was going on at times. Maybe it would make more sense if I played the game but we will see. I am hoping the book makes things a bit more clear too.

Not time wasted at all. That being said, I'd already spent 30 mins reading the campaign page, and I'm already a returning backer! I've got my copy of the first run. Havent had time to play it... o.. or paint it... Honestly, I'm still working through my all in Mythic Battles: Pantheon Kickstarter. Doesn't help that I'm an extremely slow painter

Heya Dj! That was kind of a fiasco. I had one planned for you guys but when I finally saw the campaign page there wasn't enough game details to do the video. Since then they've added a partial rulebook so I'll see if I can't fit it in now - might just do a 48 video on it even. :) Did you back it?

When I saw the general concept and some art at first, I was very into IT. Now I'm more reserved, waiting for more info

Yeah I'm still hopeful as well! I was able to talk to the designer Adam a bit and I think he at least sees my point of view. Right now I'm trying to have time be able to settle my perspective it because at first o was less than thrilled to have the game take second place so far from the minis. Feel free to message me on FB if you'd like to discuss it before that :) Did you see my 10 items for a successful KS video? That would give you some insight into how I thought of it :)

@@TheKingofAverage Yes, I saw it some time ago, and as much as I found it informative, I think you may have a successful KS campaign - just use your common sense : - )And in the case of Everrain, well, the authors seem rushed things a bit - no gameplay videos, no detailed description of game mechanics, few updates, rulebook released with some delay, and it looks to be a very initial version. Did the authors face some deadlines (in printing house and whatnot)? This all leaves a bad impression though. Suffice it to say, some of my friends from our game-board community were intially very enthusiastic about Everrain, but with little info, no gameplay videos and obscure information,they have started losing their zeal ;-) Interestingly enough, a new campaign of reavers of midgard has launched today, and here you find no gameplays or previews either. Yes, I have FB, I think I subscribe you fanpage :-)

Yeah I haven't done one of those in a while - might try to fit them in when I can but lately it's just not been possible - KS is CRAZY! Heck tomorrow both The Everrain and Project Elite launch O.o I do plan on covering Reichbusters as it comes out at a good time schedule wise :)

It's already almost 50 cents a mini already at the Investigator pledge. I have a coworker that only plays D&D so he bought this the first time around just for the minis. That being said, I hope my video helped you make a good decision on whether to back it or not :D

If this KS started 2 months ago, or a few months later, i might have bought it - but I just dropped $300 on The Edge. Now there ain't no money left ;) Looks fun though. Too many great board games, not enough time to play.

They said they might bring it back a third time at some point but more than likely you'd want to just grab Dawn of Madness next year. As a mini painter it was very easy to pic this I've Dawnfall for the better miniature quality, but the "Zombicide" advanced will get a lot of play time I imagine as well. Love the fact that there's a campaign for Dawnfall! This month had been crazy for KS O.O

Hello and thank you! :) Thankfully the game has been delivered to most backers of the first campaign so we can actually see the end product instead of just 3D renders. Below are a few examples from boardgamegeek. I'd put them in the top half of most miniature games these days. Not quite at the same quality of Rising Sun - though most aren't, but certainly not bad either.
