Beautiful , very well played but exactly the same thing played in Madrid and exactly the same thing he will do in Toulouse and elsewhere. There is no more surprised with Deep Purple.

Yes there will be when their new record is out and I'll see them live in Oktober. The people who come one's to a show want their biggest hits ; We fans will always want more but that just doesn't go that way. Maybe when we win the lottery we can book a private show for us alone with all the songs we want to hear!

@@werbeboard When I saw them in 2022 Simon played very good and I also have dvd's with him in Gillan gigs and he also plays great on them. Of course I loved the playing of Steve also, more melodic. I think that Simon will play excellent on the new record and that he will give beautiful solo's on the new songs when playing live.

No sorry, I'd been trying not to see setlists from Madrid so a new song so early in the set caught me by surprise. 😁 Great song though!
