This is one of the best gillan performances of the 80s. Even child in time sounds decent for his voice at this time . Another good one is Giants stadium 88.

In Child in Time the organ plays the octave above Gillans voice on the final part of the screams. They always did it that way after the reunion.

They were on fire at the Giant Stadium Literally. During smoke on the water, someone lit a fire. Also in the bathrooms, I remember right. I was lucky enough to be there. Guns and Roses opened. Purple next, then Aerosmith 💜 Purple stole the show G&R was on fire did a video shoot for mtv. 🔥 💜

It was never about how Gillan sounded. Blackmore was a massive dick and Gillan was doing everything he could to annoy him. It's surprising how people still haven't realised this.

If they could just keep their shit together, they would be as big as Zeppelin in the states. Loved 🔥 burn, and they lucked out with Coverdale and Hughes. It was very risky after departure of Gillan and Glover.
