We lost this week's Elite Deep Dive last mission because of this. I inadvertently froze a Praetorian death gas cloud next to the Drilldozer and froze my entire team. Team wipe.

I haven't tested it too much so I might be wrong but this seems like it might be only with the crystal nucleation OC. I would test it with the neurotoxin grenade but it doesn't seem to work with it. The one main use case AND buff to a mid grenade is obviously the one that doesn't work smh my head

Yes, it does. Same effect: cold + area damage. Be aware of your teammates (we got an elite deep dive wive because of this…)!
