"Compromise"? Like making it so you have to complete all 100 levels of the battle pass before you can opt out of a Season that's been going on for over a year at this point? I wouldn't call that compromise. The opt-out feature should be available to everyone, at any time. If that's too much of a "compromise" they could at least put it at level 50. Forcing you to complete the pass is ridiculous.

Fun fact: There was an overclock for the breach cutter called “yaw man” which made it spin like that but was removed, and now i guess they’ve revamped it with a guidance system and brought it back :)

God imagine if this actually mined terrain, some overclock with the name like "Reverse Retrofitting" which brings Breach Cutter back to it's lore roots of being a mining equipment, letting Engineer play the role of Driller but with more limited ammo, just like you're able to help replace a missing Scout with RJ250 Compound on Deepcore grenade launcher

They really did. The correct response to releasing an expansion/dlc/season that is divisive is to refine and give options. Not the bullcrap of blaming your customers for not buying or your players as being "out of touch".

Wouldn't say it was perfect, but I can say that they listened to their userbase, compromised, adapted, and were not only respectful, but also humble in how they handled it. Which is loads better than what so many other companies have done with their games.

I wouldn't say perfectly at all. Even after supposedly "disabling" Seasonal content, you'll still run into meteors and corruptors, which are ironically, the most disruptive and annoying part of random missions. They're the main reason a lot of people _wanted_ to opt-out in the first place. Why not just remove them completely for the people who've finished the pass, and thus have no more need for the plaguehearts? It feels half-assed, and I'm disappointed in GSG as they've had a great track record so far of listening to the community. It's like no matter what, they want us to keep seeing their precious sloppox events, as if they're so fun and well-crafted that they'd be insulted if anyone turned them off for good. Oh well, I'm sure modders will quickly fix the situation once the update is live.

It's Season 4 now and in reddit I see a lot of players jumping on DRG constantly asking how to unlock things from previous season & the answer is always Accessory Shop, Cargo Crates, Lost Packs, and Cosmetic Matrix Cores, etc. The store is bloated. What if, instead, DRG takes a Performance Pass approach like in Halo? There, once you finish the current season, you can buy the previous season battle pass and grind those cosmetics e.g. Season 1 BattlePass while you're in season 5. This sounds awesome for Deep Rock Galactic, considering seasons are tied with enemy varieties, like the Prospector Robot (1.5% probability of spawning nowadays). So imagine if they do that, then people would be able to get to fight enemies they missed in the past, that are already there but barely spawn nowadays. I understand this doesn't add to the veteran players who already experienced all of this, but it's still a neat addition overall for the majority of players. I started a secondary account to experience the game again & I noticed it could be kind of overwhelming to have the store cluttered with content, doing machine events Cargo Crates, Lost Packs, etc. New mission variety could be awesome too

Games with a review score of 90% winning "game of the year", voted by an army of fanboys while smaller games with 97% score like DRG don't have the same visibility

The septic spreader and corruptor changes are much appreciated. I do think the "opting out" is a bit extreme but its nice to see you guys listening to the community. Id rather have 1 region with rockpox and 1 with rival presence each cycle instead of 2 areas with rockpox or none

Three idea's for hazard modifiers I've had rolling around in my head for a while now- 1. Malfunctioning Equipment; The dwarve's headlamps don't work 2. Extreme Bio-signs; adds the exponential spawn factor from aquarq missions into other mission types 3. Bio-scan Spike; either guarantees a "random dreadnought spawn half way through a mission or increases the chance/rate for bulks to spawn
