If you're not comfortable using dyes while your scalp is vulnerable to hair loss, there are many scalp concealers on the market. Such as hair building fiber powders, spray fiber tints and compact powders scalp cover ups. Natural plant based products. I myself have used the hair building fibers and the compact scalp powders and they've worked wonders. Even outdoors in the bright sun nobody has noticed them. Just compliments on how pretty my hair looks. I've been using Toppik for 5yrs now. I use dark brown and auburn. I mix the colors for multi dimensional look that makes my hair appear naturally thicker. Hope this helps you. Don't forget there are lots of great wigs out there for us today. Many styles and selection of wigs for women! We have lace front, 100% hand-tied, and monofilament cap styles in synthetic and human hair options. You can also take it to your stylist and have it cut and styled to compliment your face shape. We have several options these days.

I’ve had alopecia ever since I was a few months old and I’ve always wanted to see if I can get my hair dyed. Just turned twenty a few weeks ago and I’m hoping if I ever dye my hair it won’t make all my hair fall out

@@mayalovebug8732 you can 💯 dye your hair with semi permanent hair dye. To lessen the very little damage it does if any mix it with conditioner. I use a Mexican product called KÜÜL crazy colors hair dye. It's very pigmented. It covers even white hairs. Hope you can or have already dyed your hair. We deserve playing with our hair too without freaking out. Best of luck . I'm sure it'll be beautiful 💚

Don't use dyes but if you must then always do the patch test first. I found I reacted to Naturtint and even henna made my scalp sore and itchy. These 'better' or more natural based dyes still have toxic chemicals you can react to. I don't have alopecia but have suffered excess hairloss I'm now convinced was caused by decades of dying my hair!! I've stopped dying hair about 6 months ago and recently noticed less hairfall in the shower and thicker hair on my head. I'm going to let myself go slowly grey. I've had it with dyes!

I seriously think that Henna caused my hair to get worse. I used it(vatikka brand) for about a year and finally came to a conclusion that it was one of the causes for alopecia, It just felt extremely heavy and dry on my hair and lost soo much whenever I would wash it out. No more henna for me. I use wella dye from Sally's.
@natashawarden28103 жыл бұрын
Maybe it was fake henna. Fake henna contains chemicals and sometimes metallic salts :o needs to be pure henna like maybe the henna available at Lush

I've known men who are fiercely attracted to confident women who have gray hair. I've colored my hair for over 20 years and have been asked, why do you color your hair? Gray hair can be very sexy, they say. Particularly, a streak from front to back. I'm only considering going gray because my hair is starting to thin. It's a lot of work to be a woman sometimes, right?

Can I use Garnier hair colour. It claims that no ammonia is used?
@TheBurrito171 Жыл бұрын
When there's no ammonia on a permanent hair dye, all it means is they switched to another chemical that does the same shit but is less common, less tested, and less safe overall. Natural is just marketing. The only natural is what you are born with. All you can really do is patch test and figure out what you react to and what you don't. All permanent dye will cause some hair loss, more or less depending on how harsh the developer is, how you react to it, etc.
