I really love and appreciate your honesty. I don't have your autoimmune disease , but my hair is also thinning. I have thinning hair , but I also have a lot of inflammation to the point of not being able to walk. Your attitude though does motivate me to keep on going and have a good attitude ! I get so emotional seeing your realness. Love your content!

I recently found out that I have alopecia a couple months ago and I finally had the courage to find videos to help me. When your hair grew back was it your natural hair color? My hair is slowly growing back but it’s white strands. I have noticed that the patch is getting bigger over time but in very small increments . Your videos of de-stressing and dieting is helping a lot . Thank you

Just started noticing back in September - finally got an appointment at renowned hospital in Boston January 2019. I'm 52 and have always had thick hair and never had to ever worry about my hair. It's starting to really thin out at the crown by my forehead. Not clumps, but just real thinning. Doctor recommended Rogaine and then also one of those light helmets. I'm going to start PRP treatment in February. Three-pronged approach. I'll start documenting on video and maybe even put it up on KZbin. Pretty interesting journey. Thank you for your videos. I'll make sure I improve my water and vitamin intake and make a commitment to exercise more.

So great to see your progress! I found out I have alopecia areata two months ago and since then I've been following loads of people on YT such as yourself as well as their stories. And one thing I noticed is, the people who were into fitness healed their bald patches way faster...! Last year I used to work out and break a sweat at least twice a week, but I've been pretty inactive since the beginning of this year due to a breakup. So I really think there might be something to it. Some studies found a correlation between the regression of autoimmune conditions and the level of physical activity. I just wanted to give you an extra motivation and really encourage you to see the gym as the last ingredient towards complete victory over alopecia! I am going to do the same. I've set a goal of sweating at least once a day and I believe that this, combined with the AIP diet which I've been following, I can turn this stupid alopecia around! Happy training and I can't wait to see your results! Marco x

No way! That is so interesting. I feel like as a society we have gone so far from what is naturally available to use to help manage disease. Thank you so much for sharing that. I will definitely stick to it and I hope your comment convinces other people too!!!

Aww thanks dear! I totally agree... I had to keep myself together when my doctor told me they have no clue what causes it and prescribed me a lousy cream. But I'm so thankful for having found you, for KZbin and the Internet in general. It is truly a remarkable time to be alive, thank god we have so much information available so we can take matter into our own hands. I shall report back in a few months. Until then, best of luck with everything!

I’m 26 and I think I have this too! It sucks cause the little bald spot is right in front/middle of my hair line and I really thinned out everywhere it started I wanna say a year and a half ago or maybe 2 and I noticed my hair was falling out more than usual and then I started thinning so much there was areas of my head I could see when I flipped it a certain way and now I think I look the worst I ever been, I say life hit me hard and it surely looks like it. I drink cause the shit gots me sad but I know I need to stop and start exercising and eating healthier but it’s going to be so hard not to drink cause that’s what takes my mind off of it but hopefully I’ll get they this like you guys!! ❤️❤️

Thank you so much for making this video! I feel so thankful that there are people like you who share important information about how to deal with autoimmune diseases in a way that doesn't just suppress the symptoms, but actually heals the problem. You are really helping people. This is my second time with an autoimmune disease and I am approaching it in a much similar way, because diet (Specific Carbohydrate Diet was what I did, but they are similar- that was for Crohn's) as well as meditation, yoga, etc worked for me last time and I am confident they will work again :) I also went thru a very stressful time for this to happen. I'd like to see your video on essential oils! Thanks so much, and I am very happy for you, that your beautiful hair is almost entirely grown back.

I have alopecia areata too and it’s so depressing. I don’t have any bald spots only hair thinning... I’ve been getting injections every 6 weeks. I think I’ve gotten 2/3 so far.. I see tons of baby hair but not enough to make my scalp not show. My doctor said it would take a year to see any difference.. Idk. I don’t know what to make of this.

Hi Deepa, I have few questions related to alopecia my daughter is 22 months old and she developed alopecia areata at the age of 1 yr after starting her regular milk I noticed few patches after that we found she is allergic to milk and egg so we stopped completely it’s almost 3 months. I changed her diet she’s on fruits vegs and chicken but her hair fall is not stopping and the size of patches getting bigger. She’s on homeopathy medicines. After how many months your hair fall stopped.

Thank you! Well you can do most veggie dishes you’ll just have to make sure the veggies are not nightshades and adjust the spices. Salt & turmeric are fine, for the base you can still do onions, ginger and garlic. You’ll just have to make adjustments to how you cook and yes it’ll taste different but remember this is only a temporary diet. I will try to record an Indian AIP video at some point.

Hi your hair looks great ty for sharing.. I have alopecia areata had it since I was 3 I'm 54 years old I have it 51 years I still don't have hair just a little like baby hair I did do steroid injections when I was a kid then they stopped them cuz it hurts so bad so I think where they gave me the steroids the hair grew I'm not sure I don't remember.. I had a rough childhood yes there's nobody knew at that time what it was I'm dealing with it now looks like to me there's a lot of people that have alopecia areata in the day they didn't get my time and people were really cruel and Bullies. I guess after all these years I'm used to having no hair buying wigs. I'm glad I'm not the only person with this but back in the day nobody else had it nobody heard of it now it's more open than Internet thanks for sharing your video💗 Alopecia areata. A variety of factors are thought to cause alopecia areata (al-o-PEE-she-uh ar-e-A-tuh), possibly including severe stress. With alopecia areata, the body's immune system attacks the hair follicles - causing hair loss.
