So allow me enlighten you. First of all, to read so much into the title and the description of a music entertainment video really speaks to a sheer lack of intelligence. JD Sumner was the deepest bass voice.
@rustyyates4212 жыл бұрын
At one point he was but Nic Val is much lower than Jd and Nic sings a double low b flat full voice. My Dad sang with JD in the Masters five for a while and knew him for some 40 plus years. There are other bass singers as low as jd. Ken turner, London Paris but Nic can sing a real voice lower than anyone

I'm thinking about Vladimir Miller, compared to him this guy is a woman.

That's because they use throat-singing for low notes.

I wish I could sing like that. Take that voice to the bars right now during Christmastime and load up on the snapper like I was trick or treating for halloween!

There are a few vocal techniques that help a person hit very low notes. Fry, stroh bass, throat singing, etc. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to tell the difference between natural and "faked". There are, or have been, only a small handful of men who might actually be able to hit the lowest C on the piano, in completely natural voice. I believe J. D, Sumner was one, but, like I said, difficult to tell. Nick Val, ego or not, can, at least, come close. A couple of opera singers, highly trained, might can. Ted Cassidy, Lurch, from The Adams Family, might have been able to. The pitch of the speaking voice is the teller. Tim Storms has a fine bass voice and good technique, but is faking anything, approximately, below a Bb below low C, but sells it well. Does all this really matter? Not really. The man in this post has a beautiful bass voice and knows how to sing his part well.

Is fry voice considered valid? Do russian octavists use chest voice?
@wmden18 жыл бұрын
I guess it's a matter of opinion. Fry is a vocal trick, but I think it is considered valid, when done with quality. Not sure about the Russians. I am no expert, at all.
@Southamericangirl428 жыл бұрын
The Russians are still the best basso profundi or oktavists as they call it. Check this voice in their choral or sacred choral music.
@MatthewMinistries-cp2yq8 жыл бұрын
IgnaceBM Yes, Russian oktavists use chest voice. I should know because though I am not one myself, I am a basso profondo, and at times I can sing contra octave notes. It's sounds just like an oktavist.

This just goes to show how much packaging matters. That video description unleashed a horde of tools who missed the point. This is an amazing song that everyone loves, by a group of awesome talented dudes. That's what the video should have been called. Guys, stop being literal dorks.

Deepest? I guess you never heard of Isaac 'Dickie' Freeman of the Fairfield Four. Listen to Roll Jordan Roll. & don't forget about Ken Turner, listen to Rainbow of Love
@ellapresley29178 жыл бұрын
Yes, I was just thinking about Mr. Freeman, and why he wasn't part of this lineup. The thing I liked about Mr. Dickie Freeman of the Fairfield 4, when he sang he never lost the "fervancy or intensity" of the song; he was a natural, God-given bass, he even talked in "bass", jus saying yall!!
