Yup mine is fried then. Happened through an aux cable I tried to make for a car radio that didn't have one. Fried headphone jack and earpiece. Already wasted money on those parts to no avail. I can't keep using a Bluetooth and my expensive one died today.

Hi, I had both mic's problem on my s3. I tried to heat audio ic, but after that lcd is black and show nothing. The phone power on, everything is ok, touch works, I am hearing sounds when I try to unlock screen. Could you tell me where is a problem? And could you tell me, what temperatures do you use when you solder these ic's wich has additional glue? I have old pcb's and I am practicing on them, but always when I try to unsolder emmc, or audio ic and etc. broke them. Please help me.

I wonder to talk to this man who fix the s3 in this video to know wether it can be fixed. good luck for us! As I don't have skills for managing I.Cs, maybe I will exchange the mother board.
