Deepmind Patch Pack // Korg PolySix Factory Patches

All 32 original Korg PolySix factory presets, copied one at a time by ear onto the deepmind.
Also includes 3 banks of default sounds with effects pre-programmed, and 8 that are user patches from my own PolySix work.
The patches are followed by 64 normal Deepmind default patches.

I always thought that all analog synths sounded completely different and it’s true to a certain degree but it’s amazing to see that despite differences in the oscillators waveforms, filter types and architecture we can still make patches sound remarkably similar. When I get a new synth, I always like to reproduce patches from another synth and try to make them sound similar. This forces me to really learn all the features of the new synth because we always end up having to compensate for things that are done differently in the two synths. This skill helps a lot when I get the infamous gear acquisition syndrome, sometimes I convince myself that I can make similar sounds with the gear I already have and I don’t need this new synth.

I sincerely enjoy your videos and generally am a fan of the pay what you want concept, especially with those synth patches. Good job they sound extremely close, so close that mostly no one could hear the difference

The amount of work that it probably took to emulate EVERY last one of the presets on the JUNO 106, JX3P, and the PolySix, and to do it 100% for free???? It just blows my mind that you could be this hardworking, so competent, and yet this generous.

Hi Jorb another fantastic pack of sounds from a classic 80s polysynth and so perfectly recreated too! I have played a PolySix and these are the closest to the original I have ever heard, you are a true synth artist sir, just brilliant stuff, keep up the excellent work.

YES! so glad you found a way to set up a payment option. compared to what people usually pay for these sounds it is a measly portion of pence. these sounds are great, thanks again and i'll be here for the next one! :)
