If you could get out of Victoria there'd be a spot on the next trip for you around October 16th. But I doubt Mr Andrew's will be letting you out of Victoria anytime soon. ☹️

Nice shooting blokes, I went out last Saturday with my .260 for long range stuff. With winds at 34kph i didnt even bother getting it out of the case , instead i sat in the car with the .22lr and got a pair at 50yds. Anyway it is nice to see the country green and lush , i bet the bunnies will be making more. Look forward to the next installment, Cheers Sean.

Yeah mate the wind and rain was pretty bad on this trip too. In part 2 all the shooting is with the 260. Some really interesting results on expansion too.

Nice video, mate. I make hunting videos myself, and I'm trying to learn how to make them more " cinematic". Just got myself a dji drone for aerial footage also. Your editing of this was great, and has given me inspiration and ideas for my next hunting video. I have a trip booked in for Feb next year out west for pigs. I'm hoping to get out there at then end of this year alos. Keep up the awesome work, mate. Brett.
@AHPOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man this 16 minute video took me around 15 hours to edit. I'm still learning as much as anyone else to mate. My advice is to just get what you have in camera gear and start telling a story mate. It's not about how good your camera is it's about the story. That's something that I needed to learn to. When you're in the field look around and get ideas. You'll learn more and more as you gain experience. I'm still learning and trying to get different camera angles and shots.

Cracking video! The editing is absolutely fantastic! Care to share the type of gear you use for recording it all?
@AHPOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Yeah mat sure thing. Premiere pro for editing the video. Camera: Canon 90D Canon 200D Canon 55-250 lens Canon 10-18 lens Samyang 16mm F2 Lens(night time lens) That's about it mate other than batteries, ND filters, tripod and all that extra stuff.

Are rabbits considered pests down there? Although fun to watch, I don't see the point in blowing up good food with CF rifles. Lovely landscape though.

How am I seeing the range finders red dot, is it just the camera picking it up or can you record on the rangefinder itself? Here's hoping for better weather next time :-)
@AHPOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Nah mate. I just add the red dot in post so people know which rabbit I'm shooting at or where to look to see the rabbit if it's blending in with the sorroundings.
