Put a safety line in place! Attached near the stand and runs all the way down, that way your harness is Attached from the first step. It's super dangerous climbing those ladder sticks with out being connected

U called a Climbing Stand a ladder tree stand when talking about getting the climbing stand to help with get up for the installation of the step sticks. It’s a climbing stand for future reference. Also hunting in a stand that high off the ground is not only totally not necessary being that high it’s a 100% sure death situation if you ever fall. 20 feet off the ground is at least a 60% chance of survival 40% chance of death as long as you don’t break your neck, land on your head, or bust any major organs internally. I had a friend Jason who fell out of a 25 foot high stand and the deputy sheriffs had to have his 14 year old daughter show them where his stand was when he didn’t come home that evening. She had to show the deputies where his stand was because she was only one knew where it was besides him. They found him dead at base of the tree with blood coming from his mouth, nose, eyes & ears. He fell asleep after forgetting to Hook his safety harness. Such a shame he was an award winning bluegrass banjo player and he was headed to stardom in Nashville with the Nashville bluegrass scene talking to him about going professional. After he beat the top bluegrass banjo player in Galax Virginia at the annual bluegrass festival in a competition. The guy he beat for the Top Banjo player trophy was at in the top #1 bluegrass recording group at that time! Such a waste not taking 100% caution and using A Safety harness. I have another friend who also fell from another 25 foot high lock on stand and he was lucky enough to land on his feet. He survived but it broke both legs, broke his pelvis and he laid in the woods yelling in agonizing pain for hours before someone found him. So I’ll say you also know that lightning also hits the tallest tree in the area don’t ya ? I know you done this for views and kicks but don’t be foolish, Hunt from 12- 20 feet off the ground your chances of survival in case of a slip up or accident will be greater at that distance.

Had to make a store run at 2:00am. On my way back, I saw something that actually made me stop. Luckily there was no traffic out because I sat idle in the middle of the road for a good two minutes looking. This monster buck was just grazing the side of the road. Didn’t run off with me just parked there staring. It was the biggest buck I ever saw in my life. Beautiful. If you had seen it, I think you would have done the same. Haven’t seen him in the last year though. Hopefully he made his way up to my property. If I got him or not, he would be nice to see again.

Congrats on the big buck brother! If I could, I feel like this video was more focused on content than hunting. Not sure how well deer can hear you in the 60 foot tall tree stand, but in my opinion if your filming this type of content and truly love the sport, you should get set up for a hunt and then record. This is the first video of yours I’ve seen, but I’d recommend getting a cam stand, I know it’s a new tree stand but still. Your tactics might stir your property up more than you want to. Be safe, and congrats again.
