Congrats on a great take. At the time you took the shot I wonder how fast your heart was racing. Did you get a dressed out weight? I took my first buck with a 12ga. rifled slug. Now you have a memory for life.

Thank you! My heart was pounding! And it didn't help at all when my first shot misfired lol. I didn't do the best job dressing it. I got more meat off a doe I shot last year, I never weighed how much I got though.

if only I could get a tag here, it's a lottery basically. If I had one I'd definitely have a moose, saw a big one today and she just stood in the road for a solid 20 seconds, then remained off in the brush (would've been a easy shot) for around 15-20 more seconds. And all the guys who can't find them, sigh....

I think the best part in your earlier videos were the fact you guys would try stuff. Drop it on the ground wipe it off and still try it. Or cook it on a wild ass rusted barrel and still eat it. Creating fond memories for yourself and giving the rest of us older generation nostalgia. Days when kids could go outside play and work.

I would use a rifle, but for some reason Ohio only limits us to straight walled cartridges. So a shotgun or something like a 450 bushmaster is all I can use.
