Ensar: Welcome back everyone. We're here with our good friend Sidi Sheikh Ehab and I would like to show him something today which I think you would also be interested to know about. And it's musk. And I mean I'm sure you've had experiences with….
Ehab: I have actually. Someone actually gave me a little bit as a gift one time and they we're telling me it had some kind of powers.
Ensar: Powers!?
Ehab: Yes, like you could put a spell on someone with this.
Ensar: With musk?!
Ehab: Yes, I mean that's what they said. I don't know.
Ensar: I never heard of that before.
Ehab: Yeah, I know, only (inaudible)
Ensar: What kind of spell?
Ehab: Well, sort of like if you wanted to attract or you wanted to have someone attracted to you, you would put on this musk or you would give this musk as a gift and it would actually be like a…I don't know, some kind of like…you know how animals leave a scent and stuff like this, you know.
Ensar: Right. This would be like your scent on that person.
Ehab: Yeah, something like that.
Ensar: So did you end up….
Ehab: Well, actually no…well, I can't tell that story right now, but…
Ensar: I mean you don't have to name any names. If it had the effect, I'm sure we'd all want to…
Ehab: Well, I always wonder. I always wonder did it have the effect. Was that the real cause of the attraction?
Ensar: I mean you're not currently married to the person, are you?
Ehab: Well, yes I am actually.

I purchased the Private Blend 2 years ago and it has been hidden in my drawer and recently sprayed it again. It was my 3rd or 4th time using it. I love the sweet candy smell from it. It is addictive and throughout the day wafts of it comes to my nose. I hung up the shirt in the evening and it perfumed my bedroom as well. I just purchased Homeros , Crime and Punishment , and Tibetan Musk and excited for them to arrive. So far I have not been disappointed with brother Ensar's perfumes.

there is story in nepal. the musk smells the perfume but doesn't know it is coming from its body, so the deer spends its whole life in search of the smell. i am from Nepal.

Thank you for sharing I truly enjoyed the video. I guess as a Saudi I could weigh in on the spell story. In the Quran spells and magic are mentioned multiple times. I recall the story of Moses and the Pharaoh’s sorcerers and the story of the two angels in Babylon Iraq. In Sunnah there is the story of a Jewish woman who casted a spell on the prophet saaws himself. So from a religious aspect yes as muslims we do believe in this. In the traditional culture people are hardcore believers to the extent that the concept of sorcery, magic, spells, envious eye, evil eye, admiring eye, evil spirits has been widely misused to explain any unexplainable situation in life. In example: the miscarry of a pregnant woman, a child fallen sick out of a sudden, the destruction of property etc. This is especially apparent in underdeveloped countries such as Egypt and mostly in people struggling with poverty who are more likely to go to sorcerers to make things happen their way. And this is without a doubt blaspheme and shirk. Locally in Saudi, a woman has been arrested in February 2020 and was linked with infant kidnappings which happened in hospitals in late 1990’s and was also found to be a sorcerer. The public prosecution sentenced her to execution. On the topic of love and casting a spell I recall a lovely song by Nina Simon “I put a spell on you because you’re mine. I can’t stand it the way you’re always running around”.

Glad to hearing about Mysore sandalwood im from this region and in before early 90s my mother used this wood to cook food but now its one of the costliest wood in world.

I am from Mysore too. In my childhood we had 2 things in every household. One sandalwood toys or wood which was used as a paste/ointment for any pain glands. My mom would rub the wood on the ground with water, make a paste and apply it on the pain. Other was frames made from ivory carvings. You can still find these in some old traditional houses. P.s. Mysore silk is another thing this region is famous for

The power of suggestion is very powerful especially when ungrounded. What I heard is that musk has the power to break ill spells because only pure spirits like the scent. Sir, our generation is aware of what is deer musk and somehow we are aware of it from a very little amount of musk inherited from our forefathers , but the fact is that even old and new generation together cannot afford to buy an original musk today because deer is an endangered species in almost every country , and we hate synthetic attars , instead of buying synthetic attars ,rather we go for perfumes .
