One thing you need to realize is that the food at hell's kitchen is free. There is a chance you could wait long and the dinner service could be shit but that is the risk you take, hence the dinner being free. So all the comments about you would leave or the hell with waiting 2 hours for food, well its a free meal and you knew what you were getting into so complaining is kind of stupid.

The thing is. they came to a restaurant that is on tv show for contestant that are competing in the kitchen. So expect the food is 50/50. Some are good and some are not. Its all about the contestant. Thats what I dont understand..the people should already know what to expect and Gordons outburts are part of it..they are there just as much to watch the show as they are to eat. There is a reason real resturants have kitchens in the back out of view..chefs arent the most personable people, thats what the front of house managers are for.

The amount of times as a waitress I've had people whistle for my attention or raise their glass high up and angrily shake it around to get my attention, those two things boil my blood more than ANYTHING. And it's always when I had been to their table over and over and over again but suddenly I'm in the middle of tending to a customer at a different table that I get the whistle and/or glass rattling. Although I know people actually do this, I can't help but believe his show is staged. The camera angles are too good, it doesn't quite make sense, but it is an accurate representation of how rude this small minority of customers can be.
