@kdenn71 VST is actually a trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies in Germany ... is stands for 'Virtual Studio Technology' and is used with Cubase, Reaper, and many other sound recording software packages ... a VST can simulate a distortion pedal, or maybe a reverb or delay pedal and even Marshall amps and many other instruments. I have a couple of very nice free VST plugins for Reaper: a reverb & a compression - can really add depth to a recording & usually high quality sounds.

@krisaf778 Tabs are just someone elses interpretation of how it is played as well. I used to get tab books but stopped when I realized that many of them are incorrect and thus a headache. KZbin is a great place to get a good idea of how something is played and I hope that my channel offers that to people who study DL.

My understanding is the twin guitars in the studio recording were tuned slightly apart from one another on either side of A 440. My guitar was tuned to standard so it sounds a bit off.

Tab for chorus starting at 5:30? I've seen alot of versions to play it on different tabs, but you sound closest to the way Steve played it. Appreciate the help, Clark's proud dude. All of Def is, I'm sure.

@rkrk1504 In terms of a guitar that fits you I can just say that I look for a feel that a guitar has. How it sounds in my hands unplugged. Then I try to find an amp that fits that guitar. It is a very personal choice. Take the time you need to listen to each guitar and find what you like. I am flattered with your comment because much of the tone comes from a player not just the guitar. For example you can tell Slash or Jimmy Page or Eric Johnson and Steve Vai from their playing not just guitar.

@krisaf778 I just play by ear so I wouldn't know. Does my way sound incorrect? That is quite possible.

Right on Kenyon! Man that was soulful ... great sound too (you should email me the manufacturer of the VSTs) - I know you are very technical so I bet you a LOT of work into that ... your Switch 625 was better than mine - I either wasn't fast enough or didn't know the notes. You nailed it bro ... love this album of songs!!
