Def Leppard Rocks, & OWNS The 80'S. It was God, & Steve Clark that saved my life from a car accident from a Song Called Armageddon It. After a Car Accident I was, & then I was in a hospital room recovering, & the Song by Def Leppard Wrote by Steve Clark, Called Armageddon it saved my Life when I saw, Steve Clark's Solo, & that Jolted Life Into me Big Time from that song, & Steve Clark's Solo, & that moment on, Since that faithful Day in 1987 in California, the same year of the, Def Leppard Hysteria Tour, I have been Alive, & Well, from having seen that song by Def Leppard & wrote by Steve Clark which is Called ( Armageddon it ). I Got to meet Steve Clark in a Burger King, while I was in 9th grade in high school 2 months after my car accident & Steve Clark Gave his Def Leppard Hysteria 1987 Tour Shirt, Right Off of His Back, & Steve Clark Signed it, then Steve Gave Me 2 of his Authentic Used Hysteria Guitar Picks, & then I had 4 photos with Steve Clark from a Polaroid Camera, Steve Clark kept 2 of the same photos of the 4 taken with Steve Clark, & I together at a, Burger King. Steve Clark Signed my 2 photos with him, & I in both photos. Steve Clark is the Reason I Love Def Leppard, & Steve Clark's Writing Ability Made Def Leppard Songs Become So Alive. Steve Clark, thank you for the memories, & the Song Armageddon It which saved my Life in 1987, while seeing it on a hospital TV while recovering in the hospital. I Always Turn Up Armageddon it Song In Honor of Steve Clark, & I Always Feel Steve Clarks Solo, & I rock Out to It at Anytime. Steve Clark, your missed, & Your Rocking Up In Heaven with you Paying your guitar, & The Angels Being your Choir. I Just Feel It . Rock On 4Ever Steve Clark.

My GOD how I wish I was alive to see this. Steve is my hero, and has shaped how I play guitar. He’s amazing. But not just him, even, this is the greatest rock band of the 80s in their prime, slaying every riff, every solo, every beat, and every vocal. From the Gods of War and Die Hard the Hunter amazing fretwork of this concert to the immaculate earcandy of Photograph and both Phil and Steve’s awesome solos, Sav showing his proficiency not just with bass but also with a keyboard, Joe able to sing the entire concert in a shredding falsetto AND STILL be able to keep going without losing his voice, Rick Allen playing killer beats with ONLY ONE ARM. These guys are amazing. While it was and is still good, their music never was the same after Steve died. I love Viv, but some things you just can’t replicate. Steve was one of them. So anyway, thank Jesus these concerts were recorded so that I’m able to be in awe and watch them perform some of the greatest hard rock songs of all time.

@williambroadstreet33536 жыл бұрын
killerchimp12...as much as I personally worship Steve, and he really did have it all, even Steve would be really uncomfortable, however well intentioned, that you've posted this. Why? Steve worshipped Page. He copied his use of Les Pauls, 18 string Razors, the guitar straps also, and the sashes he always wore. I recall Steve once by accident meeting his hero at an airport getting off another plane and he was a nervous wreck at all of a sudden meeting his idol, shaking so much, he drank from the same cup Page had just used. Steve was a very different player, I personally do not like to compare guitarists as the really good one's have their own style. Steve hated the 80's LA scene guitar players, he was a classically trained player, he could shred and did at times but it was always the feel, the emotion [hence the TESLA song dedicated to him]. But the issue is moot. Steve created, like his idol, his own niche, his own distinctive playing style that will/can never be replicated. His legacy remains forever so. An extremely shy, soft bloke who so sadly was broken inside, he had it all but the love and respect/approval he so desperately wanted he never received, and that was from his father. His father has had to and will forever have to live with this. As Lorelei said "he died of a broken heart". His loss, again was and remains incalculable. Imagine what he'd be doing today with all the changes to the industry and the staggering advances in technology. I personally believe given he was frustrated at where Leppard was going musically, he'd have left post 'Adrenalize' maybe started producing, maybe musicals? We sadly well never know.

Have you listened to the rest of their catalouge because you seem like one of those that have only listened to basically the 5 tops hit of the band and is like "oh god that song is so good from that band" as if they're a fan not tryna offend just saying. Now if you actually have listened to the rest of their catalouge why is it your favorite song because most bands (including Def Leppard) have way better under rated songs than their biggest hit.
