this was the beginings of MTV, some hadn't perfected the vids yet, butt!! Def Leppard came out with a sound that was perfect because no one else sounded like them. They are true legends of rock because they were different and millions upon millions of their records were sold but this was just the beginning. High N Dry has since had a comeback and yes Gene Simmons wrote a song on that album but if it weren't for the genius of "Mutt Lang" who knows where they would have landed.
