Yes, if your opponent is an idiot and will let you melt their only dendro unit. I would swap for Fishl immediately
@Mariassmv Жыл бұрын
even so the cards would be low on health. Wouldn't it be just as effective?

@@Mariassmvno, I they swapped to fishl they would still be able to do reactions even if characters are weak

@maxmanchik11 ай бұрын
@@ecringdrYeah, so it's almost unavoidable
@user-38rufhoerh3id11 ай бұрын
@@maxmanchik @maxmanchik No, it's decently avoidable. 1. All skills as of 3.8 Genius Invokation TCG cannot be considered as "Fast Actions." They are all Combat Actions, and there are no Action Cards that can turn a skill from a Combat Action to a Fast Action. In addition to this, only switching characters in the current TCG have a way of being considered as "Fast Actions," which is most likely what the video creator meant. 2. You can easily tell this by looking at an opponent's deck. Since this deck has a character that can do Pyro and Cryo DMG "instantly", you can tell that their first 2 moves is most likely going to trigger the Melt reaction. What does "instantly" mean, in this context? Here, it means that the character being switched to can deal Elemental DMG without any preparation needed. For example: Yoimiya and Hu Tao need to use their Elemental Skill to gain a Pyro Infusion, then deal DMG using their Normal Attack. This means that they cannot deal Pyro DMG "instantly", as you need to use your Elemental Skill to gain the infusion, alerting the opponent that the next type of DMG dealt is most likely Pyro DMG. If they already have the Infusion effect prior to being switched to, then their next Normal Attack(s) would count as "instant Elemental DMG", since no preparation would be required to deal said DMG. Since Chongyun creates a status effect that infuses characters with Cryo, then Diluc's NA will be considered as an "instant Cryo DMG Normal Attack.", then a follow-up "instant Pyro DMG Elemental Skill," proccing the Melt reaction. It will reach the point of being unavoidable once all your characters have the Cryo or Pyro aura, that's the point Diluc or Chongyun can break your team with heavy-hitting attacks. They're only weakness is their Energy. If you can kill them BEFORE they are able to cast that "insta-kill" Burst, then you have a good chance of winning, of course, unless you blunder. Xiangling uses a Summon to deal Pyro DMG in the End Phase, so she cannot deal Pyro DMG "instantly." Diluc, on the other hand, can deal Pyro DMG as soon as he's switched to, and gains the turn, since his Skill directly deals Pyro DMG.

The better way of this was found by atilla. If the main reason is to kill one card lets say you play vs ayamiya) - use mona+2 die swords. (For diluc or bennet instead xianling) At round 1 you use mona's skill and sword/liusu cards, and then swap to diluc or bennet. This will usually trick the opponent swap but it doesn't matter. At the end of the round one mona'e E will hit one more time, therefore you either have 1 enemy char at 8 or 2 charas at 9 but hydro applied on both of them. At round 2 you always start first since swap from mona is quick thingy (just as noelle card). This is where things get interesting. Right from the start at round 2 you can -9 (2die weapon+pyro res) or -8 (no weapon+pyro res). If we speak about long game tho, the deck on the video is prob better since diluc can trigger melt without help (under chongyun's E)

In a perfect scenario you can always ftk with Bennett and TM, tandoori and monstadt Res, Bennett does 5 and TM does 8, which is 13 damage (not to mention TM targets the character even if they swap off) kills through lotus, so they would need to high roll and shield up to survive which is highly unlikely
@yoyododo9234Ай бұрын
@@kirank2170 true, but I meant generally. If you were to play in a tornament with this deck, you probably wouldn't win. This deck requires a lot of luck. Plus most good players know how to dodge reaction. Also ftk's usually don't do much unless the other player is rlly stupid. Lastly, this deck has very little syngery, so even if you ftk, you don't have anything else to do. This deck would have struggle in meta 4 months ago. Now it would struggle even more, with magic dice, jeht, treasure etc.
@yoyododo9234Ай бұрын
+ i forgot to add, there is a reason none of the meta decks are first round kill. The only meta deck recently that could ftk was monster mashup, but that deck was strong bc of magic dice and overall good syngery. Also, this deck ftk (or second round kill) requires the opponent to just sit there, like uh....... if someone is good, they will predict the pyro reso and switch just for safety. This deck is incredibly inconsistent. Monster mashup was much more consistent in second round kills, and even then this deck wasn't mainly used for second round kills, I mean, it was helpful but not the main goal. lastly, tandori is not a reliable way to ftk since you have no way of guaranteeing it. Also uh? you mentions station and bennet but I was talking about neither of these cards. Also dodging exists, if you start second, just start on another char and switch. Also, bennet station isn't used that often anymore.

Im assuming no because chongyun is good for dealing that strong hit at 3 energy, similar to diluc. So you can essentially reverse melt that way. Kaeya is good when you swap around, whih doesnt happen often huh
