In general I really dislike the mutations and I think any mutation that can affect combat needs to be removed/changed into something that does not. I am also disappointed the devs feel 'organized' groups needs even MORE advantages than the average player has since it will more or less only be these people who can make use of the nesting mutations, especially if they have changed that you need even more than 1 other person to nest with? so you cant nest in on your own egg anymore? Yeah, us casual players will only get a egg on a blue moon and be entirely left up to chance what mutations we get from it while the groups will be power gaming this to the limits. Double the mutations is not a small advantage. I mean there is a mutation that makes your dino make less noise when you are chatting. Someone playing in a group gets 100% silent chatting, unlimited reach, Friend or Foe compatible in that only your friends know what you are saying, can be used during movement/combat because you do not have to type it and its a free "mutation" that does not even take up a mutation slot -> Discord. Semi-organized groups of people never needed more advantages yet the devs are starting to pile up a literal mountain of advantages on them for no reason...

Perfect deinostration of the life of a very successful gator. Failed hunts, many successes, a lot of different scenarios to learn from -- it's the complete package, and your best video to date, Pete. Canni species... only makes sense with a food shortage. Also a cannibal wouldnt have a partner. Spend 10 hours growing to have a pair of douchebags kill you while they are surrounded by food is ridiculous and toxic.

@@thelastpirate1906 You're not in the right mindset to be playing a cannibalistic species in a survival game. Don't think about what "wouldn't" happen, and start considering what CAN happen. The first and most important rule of surviving The Isle, (or any survival game) is: "Don't trust ANYONE", even if you make some type of alliance, assume it's temporary. Never EVER be comfortable in the presence of someone you're not actually playing with, especially if they don't use the in-game chat. People are simple, and when they're bored, needlessly belligerent.

It is really nice to have more options For S-nutrients other than dienos, raptors aint enough so, dibble was very welcome and makes dieno perfect diet alot easier to maintain. I played Dieno yesterday and had perfect diet the entire time to full grown from dibbles lol.

stunning intro mate ♥ may I asked you something? as a deino player with a lot of experience who had the same "problem" at 4:39 as I have so often. is it just me who thinks the swamp has way too many shallow parts in between? I mean, does your knowledge make these parts a welcome task/challenge to navigate through? like at 7:36. because somehow I feel there are way too many shallow parts, but somehow I also feel like I am probably just not familiar enough with the swamp. specially if I watch your video 😁 yeah, you can't get them all, but still, you got a lot. awesome video as always and I am curious to see your way up the mutations 😉

Hey there! I recommend looking at a map as an overview of it. You can pick out the "main" rivers in it which are deep. Those exist and then the shallow parts in between which most things on land would use. Some are used more than others, like where we got our double catch. It felt to me like most were there for the first time and didn't quite know which way to go, allowing me to catch a lot. Happy hunting :D

In HT they`ve fixed the deino sound that still audible outside of the water, with the deino moving underwater or biting, or turning, you can hear it all in the evrima (normal)

I've played like 80 hours as a croc in the swamp. I've seen two other critters in all of that time lol. Nobody but crocs seem to go anywhere near the swamp from my experience. GG

Stegos and now diablos have migration zones there so you’ll see those sometimes depending on if their food is there or not.

@@grumpydave7329 yeah, different creatures have different migration zones for limited times, so sometimes you’ll be there at the right time or you can just wait for a long time until it changes to that area and over time those species will show up.

When i play this there isnt a soul in sight of a 120/120 server lmao. I camped the swamp from 0-100 eating fish and befriended a couple small deinos (cause i dont cannibalize my own kind unless theyve been killed already and i need food) we saw one raptor pack in like 5 hours in the swamp. I got saltwater mutation then swam all the way up to the west beach and down that river to make it to south west river. No food at all in the river by the beach in the west so if you do this make sure youre full on food! I got to the lake at the end of the river with 10 pct food left and idk if ill find something before i starve

Id love to play as a deino more, but as a solo player its nearly impossible. You can be surrounded by food and still get murdered by a pair of cannibals. They never fight you 1v1, and they seem to be offended by anyone else simply existing. For such a small community its highly toxic.
