Mike, would you have an estimate for replacing a whole-home of those Flowtite push-pull valves and supply lines on CPVC? I'm nervous to touch CPVC, it seems like it could all be so brittle!

An expansion tank, whether brand new or re-used, should be double-checked; in order that the expansion tank's air pressure should closely match the in-house water pressure, which should ideally be about 65 PSI, as measured by a PSI water meter. A bicycle pump can be used to pump up the air pressure. If the in-house water pressure is too high, then a pressure reducing valve may be required.
