Defender 300Tdi Rebuild - 2. Turning Around

We have transport booked to take the landy back to my house so we can begin the rebuild and we needed to put some air in the tyres and turn it around. How hard can it be?

When it is moved it looks very difficult and the space is very small, I think why is VW not moved first ???

Put a long pri bar through the steering wheel and twist tye lock snaps i did one with a small scafild bar and feet on the a pillar 😉

Bloody hell. You know these things go for £2500 on the road right? That thing should have been free.

arbit3r you’re a little behind the times my friend. 300 tdi Defenders in reasonable nick are making over £7-8k. One properly rebuilt on a galv chassis 12-15. They’re queuing up to pay anything from £60 -£150k for the fancy new ones out of storage. Mad I know but true.

a used 300tdi non-reconditioned is £450 at best.

@@jcdowen Yes indeed. I've seen fully rebuilt 300tdi's for just over a £1300. 300tdis are dirt cheap. Not sure what these guys are on about.
