Defender 90 WOLF

Well… A rather nice example of the 90ˋ Landy … I was thinking about getting, here in Germany where there are quite a few around, leftovers from the British Armed Forces… But admittedly, the 90ˋ WOLF did not serve my purpose… I wanted a long based version of a Land Rover Defender,that one/two people could sleep inside the vehicle, with the additional space on a proper roof rack … So I ended up with a 110 HT , just like „Boris“ here on the Tube… with additional roof ventilation for summer time… But she likes like she is in good shape … I have to admit 👍 A few of the old G-wagon from the military service are also goin around here.. There are very few true Wolf HS for sale here in Germany. Most advertise Military 90 or 110 and call is "Wolf". Production date is the easy way to see through that as 1997-1998 only. Also verification from the VIN on the seat box. All Wolf 90's have been cast from service, but some 110s are coming through. Left hand drive is rare and adds extra cost. Expect to pay 18-25k for a 110 version and 25-35 for a 90 version. I cannot see the prices coming down. They are cheaper in the UK. but now you have to pay tax at your country, 10% import duty as well as a customs agent and logistics to get it there. @@Stiglitz_H

1997-1998. That was the only production run of Land Rover Defender Wolf 90/110.

Hi I recently was told by a friend of mine that an agent from the UK that was trying to sell him a weathered/waterproofed WOLF Land Rover told him that the ‘wolf rim’ the ANR4583 is NOT the ‘original’ rims but were first introduce in Iraq during the gulf war. The original he was told is the ‘blindo rims’ (the one you would find in a WMIK). Is this legit?

ANR4583 is the original. Blindo introduced much later.

Blindo wheels were fitted to WMIK/R and also Snatch 2. They were never fitted to Wolf HS, which only had the Wolf wheels and originally G90 tyres (later Mitchelin) which were also designed for the Wolf project.
