Per your question Pixie: "Hir" means Lord. So Rohirrim is Horse-Lord, Gwaihir is Wind-Lord, etc. "Hir en Ech" is "Lord of the Spear". "Hir en Lang" is "Lord of the Sword". Its pronounced like is written. "Here en Eck"

the elves did everything right, but damn, whoever played the orcs did 👌👍, nice set ups and forced moves, spec with those witchers and catapults and trolls, but those are easy to use I guess, lol, loved the catapult move on the hill, great battle, needs a rematch and maybe more elves to make it moar fair

This was a remarkably good battle. Especially the attempts to outflank despite the terrain. And the orc commander on the right flank, he managed his reserves perfectly, sent in his magic users at the right time, focused on one flank and knew just when to send in elites or fodder troops.

Lothlorien were very active in the wars of the ring TA, Celeborn led a mighty host to Dol Goldur and dispelled the sorcery there, and they provided the garrisons to Rohan settlements when the rohirrim rode to pellenor (not to mention their pivotal role at helm's deep.) The Galadhrim was feared throughout middle-earth by servants of evil and the free peoples alike. The other descriptions are spot on :)

This battle is rather dissapointing, Mordor is supposed to be a faction with cheap infantry, not a ton of elite troops. I support the new units, but some of them are just to much. For example the witchers don't make any sense and some design of units look very childish.

Man, I can't wait to see dwarven goat cavalry or even chariots, if we go by the books the dwarves had no cavalry or chariots as far as I know, but since the dwarves live in and on mountains it'd be logical they use goats/rams as transport and other stuff since horses aren't suited for underground/mountain terrain. Keep that Third Age coming dude! Love it. :D

Johan Aanvik Yeah, the reason behind that is because no one knew if Legolas's mother was a Silvan elf or a Sindar elf. Silvan elves are known to have darker hair like a brownish/redish color. Sindar elves were descendants of Teleri elves and most of them had silver hair and when the sun hits it, it make it look like a gold color.

As a LOTR and particular Elven fan, here's some Helpful Hints to Sindarin. the "a" is as in "father" the "e" is as in "Ben" the "i" is as in "leech" (so Hir is "Heer (here)") (Hir means "Lord") the "u" is as in "um?" (I never figured out what the ^ does to letters) the "ch" is as in the Scottish "loch" not English "church" Your commentary as in all videos is half of what makes these videos enjoyable. Hi Pixi Just wanted to say that i enjoy you channel on a daily basis. I also like Total War way to much to ignore your channel. But i have 1 thing i have to mention especially about third age: I think you are underestimenting the Orc factions in their power. You always make 2 vs 4 matches in favour of the orc armies. What does this mean? The orc players can do nearly everything with their man. It is far easier for them to "waste" them on the field. E.g. this battle. A general get killed at 25min, but it does not matter at all. They have over 4000 man left. I think a 3 vs 2 have been way more exiting to watch. Still thank you for the joy you bring to us. Keep staying awesome

Great video as always. Always fun to see Kuru and Synn. And Imladris is becoming a regular favorite as well. I really love this submod and all the new units. Except just one thing. It seems like the evil factions got a bit OP with all the elite units. Kinda messes with the balance ya know. They severely outnumber the elves but also have the elite units to match them. Maybe limit the elite special units the evil factions can use? I mean regardless great video and great playing by both sides.
