Arguably the greatest artist I’ve ever heard, and this is coming from a Kendrick Stan. The first time I heard Orpheus Vs The Sirens, I was completely blown away. He has one of the best discographies of all time.

Kendrick is overall better than Ka, but Ka is probably a better lyricist. And that says something because Kendrick is super versatile and can bar out and touch your soul.

Some of my favorite Ka lines that comes to mind so far, I have yet to listen to a lot of his catalog: ”Was a young esquire in bum attire, jum supplier / Hunger made me a gun for hire” - Our Father ”This attack won’t bring my man back, the pastor right / But since he popped, now my man got the drop in the afterlife” - Our Father ”Born in the jungle, out the womb running / Better move youngin’, predators is soon coming / Aggressive measures for the ones alive / The issue is no nipple for the undersized” - Jungle ”If this ain’t meant for me, nothing is” - Nothing Is ”Mama told me, ”Be a good boy / Need you alive, please survive, you my hood joy” / Pops told me, ”Stay strapped son / You need the shotty, be a body or catch one” / Always been conflicted” - Conflicted

Listening to Ka is very rewarding. There are so many double entendres and things to decipher in his verses that I’m still catching things here and there that I’ve missed in his music. Not only that, but something about Ka’s humility and insightful-ness makes me want to be a better man. I feel like I know him so much through his music and have learned that he’s a man with great honor and righteousness. Praise Ka.

Well documented sir, Ka is a TRUE example of that, “Everything ain’t for everybody” narrative. His music really feeds my dark ass soul and is way different from everything else out there. I wish he’d do more joints with Roc Marci (cos that’s how I discovered him in the first place), they compliment each other’s styles. Soul hip hop for real and I dig it.

Ka is a niche artist but his main issue is that the man is too humble. Man has rappers like Mos Def, El-P, Killer Mike, Navy Blue, Earl...be fans of him and he's still think like he ain't worth the praise. I've been trying my hardest to recommend his music to react channel. We are 8 billions in the world, he could easily be a niche artist and have a lot more listeners but he's not willing to promote himself because he doesn't think people will like his music lol. It's insane, he's one of the best lyricists of all time and he should be in those convos.
