I love this overview video looking at the defib. This video is a very useful tool for clinicians that do not use there defib often. Keep up the good work!

Regular review on how to use your available emergency equipment is very important as not to impact patient outcomes. There is no time to figure out how to do a procedure when the patient is lying in front of you. For every minute we delay defibrillation, a patients chanse of survival deminishes by 7-10% per minute.

I want to ask about skin burn because of defibrillaton .does it occur from the 1st ,2nd,3rd or more for eg.10 or 12 times?
@TheResuscitationCoach3 ай бұрын
It’s a difficult question to answer. It can happen from the first shock. ⚡️ It all depends on proper technique. If you are not using appropriate amount of Defib Gel with the paddles or you have used the Multi-Function pads too many times or for to long it could cause burns.
@a8iad Жыл бұрын
in tcp do we always use the AP Pad placement ? Or depends on the manufacturer?
@TheResuscitationCoach Жыл бұрын
With AP you have better success rates with TCP but you could also use the standard defibrillation pad position as a lot of time the patient might have pads already in place. Always follow recommendations from the manufacturer.
