*READ PINNED COMMENT THERE'S SOME UPDATES* *UPDATE* A bit after my video released, Daft contacted me on discord and we had a short chat about some of the information that I said in my video regarding the Just Stop/Ls Mark stuff and Aetheron Art. Most of what we talked about was something he had brought up in his now deleted video on the situation that still exists via reupload. Here is his statement below: "First, Braxton came to me for help with the Mark video he was already working on. I never went to him first. He told me he thought that Mark was in an abusive relationship, and that was concerning to me, because Mark had already had a situation prior with Cosmodore, who tried to groom him, so I was worried that something had happened to him, and despite the fact that me and Mark hadn't communicated as much as we used to, at that time I still considered him a close friend. Later, I found out that Braxton was making the video because Mark, Veronica, and Sonny were being rude and unwelcoming to Braxton and his at the time partner - NeonCaffeine - at an AirBNB they were visiting them at. Last month I found out that one of Braxton’s friends was telling people he’s making a video on Mark and Mark would find out. This was before I was involved. There were about 8+ people who worked on the video. I believe I was the only one mentioned because a lot of people already hated me so it was easy to assume I puppeted everything. Braxton is still mostly mutuals with everyone else who worked on the video. MangaKamen was the only other public person mentioned who approved of his script. I told Braxton a few times and even on the day he uploaded that he didn't have to make the video and he needs to show it to everyone involved before release. He forgot to show it to a few people and they were mad they didn’t get to see it. You are correct that his video was taken down around 5 days later, but it was privatized 12 hours after initial release after a call with NeonCaffeine and his friends. A lot of what I suggested for the video never went in and I tried telling Braxton not to focus on the marriage stuff. After Braxton’s video came out a former friend of Mark’s showed me screenshots of Mark/Veronica/Sonny/other animators making fun of me and leaking my pilot in a Discord server. It seems that Mark and I stopped being friends a while ago, and seemingly kept me around to make fun of me and encourage my bad behavior." *Aetheron Art Post*: "There is a small bit I remembered; you had mentioned AtherionArt in your video, someone I made a video about that I never interviewed. I apologized to him privately for not taking time to interview him as I did others; I never announced this nor the other people I talked to privately." Hold on, the AtherionArt part doesn't really make sense to me. They made the claim that they're a "gay black guy." I recently just looked at their Twitter. Love their art, but from just scrolling through their tweets and reposts, there are so many contradictions to that statement that it's not even funny. I know that it's coming from the person himself. But I'm sorry, I REALLY do not believe it. I'm not someone who believes in everything someone says on the internet without any evidence. Just one look at their profile and you'll see the majority of their art consisting of near-NSFW content of girls. You'll even see reposts real people with their own NSFW content. And even in one of the posts, you'll see a meme of them thirsting over Nami. A character who is well-known for her "features." I'm sorry, but I don't believe in that claim until proven otherwise. This sounds like a case of someone trying to paint themselves who they are not, just so they can come off as someone who's trying to "criticize" a group. But in reality, they genuinely have hostile opinions against those people. In the discord message you showed, he didn't even refer to gay people along with himself. Just "gay couple" as if he wasn't included. In conclusion, it really sounds like this: "I can't be ANY of those things you just called me. I'm gay and black. I'm someone who's just criticizing a group. Lol."

If you watched the Original Braxton video, My story with SonnyTM was used. This is because while making the video Braxton reached out to me to check in, I assume Daft told him about the weird messages Sony was ban-evading to send. I Told him my story and warned that if he focuses too much on whos shitty in this marriage its going to turn into another projared situation. People don't care if the guy is married to a shitty person, it won't unmarry them but Braxton told me that he had to talk about it. In response I told him he should focus on the Doobusgoobus stuff and SonnyTM since I believed at the time (and still do) That they actually where doing some degenerate stuff. I was sent the video either shortly before it went live or after it already was. I did not watch the video at the time cuz I was about to pass out for work. I woke up to find the video had been unlisted and a ton of controversy was just happening left and right. I checked out the video via the link and it turned out Braxton misrepresented my story, implying I blocked LS Mark and Sony after one incident of being sent a weird shirtless selfie. It was after the second or third time that I did this. When I confronted Mark about it he ghosted me under the belief I would leak my DM's to Daft. I had huge reservations about the rest of the video too, but I never got to voice those concerns or tell Just Stop/Braxton because he thought my part of the video was so small that I did not need to see it. Mean while I got flack for being thin skinned and blocking Mark/Sonny over memes and pranks. Never once apologized to me either. I'm confident that if I saw that Video before it went live I would of demanded that it be re-edited or to remove my involvement/influence from it. I've also talked with most of the people that got to access it more than I, From what I understand Braxton was too tired after working on this project for so long so instead of taking time to fix it, remove things, ect he wanted to put it out immidately to put it behind him. Then when people told him to log off he decided to reach out to Mark and debate Keemstar. Due to not wanting to fix errors this is how the voice actor that Mark was staying with was leaked. I think you can definately blame Daft for lacking social selfawareness because the end product was really bad, but hes not the puppeteer, sometimes well intentioned people like Braxton make mistakes. The only person who could of uploaded that video despite protest was Braxton, the person who edited the entire thing was Braxton and the only one who got to look at every script and decide who got to work on that was again Braxton. So, I guess all I got to say is this - I believe in personal responsiblity. If I say something dumb and upload it on my own channel, thats not my writers fault, thats not my editors fault, thats not my buddy who looked over the scripts fault. ITS MINE, because at the end of the day only one person can stop you from uploading to your own channel and thats you, but personally thats my take. If you want to blame everyone involved then thats also up to you to do but at the end the only one who could've stopped that video was Braxton.

Don't quote me on this, but I remember once hearing about how Daftpina wanted to be an artist. That he wanted to make his own shows, but apparently struggled a lot with art and wasn't very skilled or talented at it. When I heard that years ago the first thing I thought was that it all makes sense now. Why he went after people like JaidenAnimations and TheOddOnesOut with what seemed to be sheer spite and malice being presented through an insincere lens finally made sense to me. He was jealous. He was envious and insecure about them succeeding where he failed and having the type of reach that he wanted. Please note I'm not saying everyone who criticizes a big youtuber is jealous. You don't have to be jealous to criticize them, but in his case I think he is. I could be wrong, but if his actions were motivaed by jealousy, envy, and insecurity it would make a lot of sense.

(Long comment. Sorry if it's a bit heated, since I've been holding back a lot for a long time) I actually used to dream of being a storytime animator back in middle school. Nothing too amazing since I wasn't super confident in my art at the time, but still fun and entertaining enough for people to enjoy it. I made actual plans for this channel, such as a name and basic persona, as well as an intro and even a few starter scripts. I was excited and eager, filled with a desire to create and just have fun. I just wanted to do what looked like a fun hobby at the time. But then I saw some of Daft Pina's videos. I watch him viciously criticize and tear apart creators who I legitimately looked up to and admired. He always had something bad to say about everyone, and it felt like he was practically looking for reasons to see something wrong with people. He even had that attitude towards smaller and less experienced creators, including younger ones. Most of these animators (at least at the time) hadn't really made it a full time job yet, just a hobby fueled by passion. All of them were heavily fueled by passion, making stuff people could enjoy for free, and usually doing it all on their own. And yet Daft Pina treated them like it was supposed to be a job, when that wasn't always the case. I remember recently seeing a post that really stuck with me (paraphrasing): "Not every artist who posts something online wants criticism. Sometimes they just want to show it off." Not everyone is actually looking to improve their art, and that's not always a bad thing, at least if it's a hobby. There's also the fact that you don't need to take every bit of criticism. As a much more self-confident artist in college, I must say that while it's good to listen to critiques sometimes, you don't need to follow every single one. Some people may have suggestions that you disagree with, or don't fit with what you are trying to make. And there will be times where you don't need to try and be good at all. The stuff you do in your free time where you let loose, making drawings where proportions don't exist and god is dead. If I do a few goofy, shitty doodles in my notebook, then show it to my friend for a laugh, it would be weird and annoying if they started critiquing the artistic technique of my doodle. Like, it's literally not that serious. This can be the same with some online art. But Daft Pina acted as though criticism is a requirement for all art ever and you absolutely MUST listen to it, when literally nobody asked. He would essentially mock people for being sensitive (which PROBABLY why they ignore critics since they know they are sensitive), then get mad at them for not taking criticism, but they literally don't need to. They aren't in fucking art school. They aren't fucking professionals. They aren't getting paid. They are doing it for themselves because they like making art and it makes them happy. It doesn't need to be good. Who. Gives. A. Shit. Here's the important thing, though. It's honestly the thing that pisses me off about this whole thing in general. When I saw how Daft Pina was treating other artists, I became worried and doubtful. I became paranoid at the idea that, if I started posting, people would come out of the woodworks and tear me apart, nitpicking every single little thing I did "wrong." I was concerned that if I somehow became popular enough, Daft Pina would make a video on me, something that would emotionally destroy me if I watched it. And then he would probably become all pissy if I chose to just ignore him. I was also worried that he'd begin to criticize my personality, who I am as an individual, something a neurodivergent middle schooler definitely does not need. The idea of being a storytime animator began to sound less fun and more stressful, whether it was a hobby or not. And at a certain point, I ended up dropping the dream. I basically quit before I could even start. If I'm to be perfectly frank (and a bit harsh (then again, Daft never really cared about being nice)), I feel like Daft Pina's videos provide nothing to anyone. Maybe there are a few valid critiques in there, but overall, nothing he puts nothing of value out into the world. If he made a video on me, I feel like it wouldn't actually encourage me to improve or make changes. At best, I wouldn't care, and at worst, I would consider quitting and loose motivation. It's always unnecessarily mean and nitpicky, shit that could easily be put in a short comment if it was phrased more nicely. So it clearly isn't for the artists. Sometimes he criticizes their personality and actions, so maybe it's to warn the viewers about problematic people? But it's the smallest, pettiest possible things that are usually scraping the bottom of the barrel. So it really isn't for that either. Maybe it's just for entertainment? The problem with that is that it's not particularly entertaining, either. I'm far from the first people to express annoyance with his slowly, dry delivery that requires the viewer to play everything at 2x speed. Every time I watched his video, even when giving him the benefit of the doubt, I always came away from it feeling drained and tired. I didn't feel like I got anything out of it. Even with sad and depressing videos, I still usually feel like I came away with SOMETHING, or that SOMEONE would. But there's not really much there. Usually, this wouldn't be a huge problem for me. Sometimes shit has no point, and that's fine. I don't think I would have a problem with Daft's videos if it wasn't for the side effects they DO have. They spread a pointless negativity that makes a usually supportive and happy community a worse place. Daft Pina's videos don't educate or inform, nor do they encourage or inspire. They just make you feel bitter and like you want to quit. That's I think what makes me so mad about his videos. They discourage people from wanting to try, while holding an air of self-righteousness that comes across as arrogance (and yet he calls the animators "arrogant" for ignoring him). They make the internet a worse place. I may be in art school and am going into the field of animation, but because of Daft Pina, I'm probably never going to animate on KZbin. Even if it's not a storytime animation channel, I feel weird about having any form of animation in my videos. Deep down, the excited kid inside me still wants to make videos like that, since I still love those channels, and I love animating. But I can't bring myself to make storytime animations. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person. I have a strong feeling that because of the environment Daft created, there are artists out there who decide to give up. I don't really know how to end this besides just saying: to any young artists out there, don't let assholes like Daft stop you. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad. Make art, and have fun. Because your creativity, your passion, and your joy matter. Don't let nitpicking get in the way of you trying. It's a hobby you are doing completely for free. So who the fuck cares?

I feel partially responsible for Daftpina's success.. Back in early 2017, when I first met him, he was banned by accident after joining RebelTaxi's unofficial/fan discord server. A popular cartoon reviewer at the time. I had posted a public invite link in Pan's Picarto chat after his stream had ended. The discord server moderators mistook the new people joining as trouble, so banned them. I felt guilty and worked together with these users in a private discord chat to get them unbanned, and it worked. Case closed, right? After that, Daft began acting like an entitled boot to other users in the server. He would regularly start arguments, talk badly about other cartoon reviewers, and bring up the personal drama of animated content creators like Jaiden. The server unfortunately became like an early platform for him to discuss these things openly and for him to post his KZbin content. I regretted helping him ever since. And I felt powerless to stop him once he got going. Especially after seeing where he was going with his content (around the time of the Jaiden drama), and how he continued to suck up to Pan, until he eventually got a place in Pan's videos. I think he was the sole reason I had to unsubscribe from Pan. I did not want to see, or hear him. And I don't think Pan ever knew just how much of an fanboy Daft was. Anyway, I checked up on Daft only to see that he had completely rebranded himself (again). I genuinely feel like him rebranding is just a way for him to "hide" from his past. Just like when he deleted his old DeviantArt profile.. Dude's a monotone robot with no concept of respecting social boundaries. He never listened to mine or others criticism of his content, and will probably never change his behavior. We'll see though.

@magical5716 ай бұрын
@@poweroffriendship2.0 your statement makes no sense though....you don't, and most likely aren't, a filmaker to be a film critic, you just need to be literate in it. you can, by all measures, be incompetent if you were to be forced to write a script or a film a scene, but be a good thinker, historian, etc, have enough media literacy to be a critic. and by the same hand, not every artist is a good art critic. thought exercizes, analysis, literacy, are skills and knowledge different to puting the brush against the canvas. i wouldn't ask my artist friends on advice about how to write a thought piece or a themed analysis on anything lol, just a handful of them who, ironically, suck at the practical side of things but are more literate. You can dislike daftina or his points, but you dom't by any means, have to be a good or even decent artist to be a critic. if you have to resort to that argument, nobody ever can critique any series since most of us aren't and will never be producers or animators. that's not how it works. if you have to resort to that argument, then you have nothing to build upon, it's genuinly just a petty dig at him. criticize him for more meaningful things-

So a couple things about this video: Based on an interview Daft did with Mumkey Jones, now Simian Jimmy, Daft had actually stated that one of Jaidens friends was still mad at him for making the face reveal video, but at the time Daft didn't say who they were. Two years later Daft realized James was getting criticized and tried to throw this out there, so there was evidence that Daft was waiting for a moment to use the fact James didn't forgive him against him. Another thing I want to mention is Daft's TinaFate video. What a lot of people didn't realize is that Daft blatantly lied and spread misinformation in that video to make hinself look better and TinaFate look worse. While Tinafate absolutely had to get called out for their actions, Daft tried to accuse them of acts he had no evidence for such as scamming people out of money, e-dating multiple people, pretending to be japanese, and manipulating multiple underage people into vulnerable positions. A lot of this stuff seemed to be done so that Daft could compare TinaFate to Luulubu, who actually did all of those things. To make matters worse, the person who TinaFate was accused of grooming was actually a sexual predator who had a history of lying about their age and trying to manipulate people into relationships. They had numerous people who they had done this to, 5 of which I was able to interview. The information about this predator was completely glossed over by Daft despite the fact the information was available to him. Basically, instead of doing research he got his friends who knew nothing about the situation to agree with him, despite the fact he showed no evidence, completely missed an actual sexual predator that he could have found out about, misinformed the people who watched the video so if they want to recognize these situations, they can't, and tried to pass it off as informational. And to top it all off, the predator who Tinafate interacted with left a comment playing the victim, lied about the people who spoke out about them, and got forgiveness and support from ThatCreepyReading in the comment section. Just to make things clear, TinaFate did interact inappropriately with the minor, but the situation is far more complex than people realize, and Daft really did what he could to make himself look better instead of actually understanding it. If your curious, I made a video on this subject which I will link. I bring this up because a lot of people don't realize just what that situation was, and how much Daft got away with lying about. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYnFonqhZpaXh7M Oh and here's the original TinaFate video on the wayback machine web.archive.org/web/20230817235821/kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqPYqoltgsaGjLs

I'm surprised, Daft didn't stop while he was ahead when JAR and HarleyTBS made their first video on him. Because say what you will about their motives, all the points they made on him were heavily accurate and even foreshadowed an event that only proved their skepticism. Especially JAR's statement of, "Daft has always been like this, he only has gotten better at hiding it." A quote almost everyone has stated even Orange did twice. Harley said this, as well as Just Stop, despite him saying JAR's cover of him was as flawed as Sunny. (Aka, Just Stop doesn't want to admit JAR was right in that regard. I know how psychology works. It's petty, but it exist in all of us.) Funny enough TCR (That creepy Reading) had a debate with JAR and yeah..... so far, he never for fill the promise he made to JAR at the end of the said debate. Because he was told by JAR to convince Daft to releasing the entirety of Daft's live chat recording with Antoons. I know some people will say, "Why is JAR defending racists like Antoons and Theoddonesout?!" Yes, some people unironically still believes James is racist via Daft's video on him. As for Antoons. JAR only wanted to discredit Daft of the loose accusation he made on him on being a potential pedophile because how Daft stated was. "Questioning the genitals of a minor." Yeah, it doesn't take a philosopher to know what conclusions people would jump to, just by saying that. Even though what Antoons did say was, "How can you have your period. Aren't you a trans female?" aka, from a man to a woman. (Biological males can't have periods even after transitioning.) And again, if you want to shit on Antoons outside of that, we'll you're free to do so. Not going to stop you on that.

The brain doesnt stop developing at the early-mid 20's, thats where the study ended and news sources ran away with the notion of the brain not being developed till around that age, truth is the frontal lobe probably doesnt stop developing in our lifetime, and at most just slows down :p

I've been wanted someone to make a video on this cuz i remember him being the most critical animation commentator for a few years until he vanished. Checked back years later and now hes a gay furry rebranded? I can't wait to see how this video plays

If I had anything to say to Daft, it'd be this: If you legitimately want to learn from your past mistakes and make amends to those you wronged, I respect that and believe in you. Just know that, with all due respect, you have your work cut out for you.

Bro ruined his career by doing stupid shit that he didn’t even have to do. He didn’t deserve a second chance and his apology just showed that he didn’t care and I hated him in just a year.

If you build your career on putting down others, at some point you won’t have anything left to stand on

He's trying to rebrand by changing his channel name and deleting his old videos, it's still bad

Daft Pina sounds like one of those people you'd hear in a KZbin Ad that you'd immediately want to skip.

I was re watching the Jayden face reveal video thinking how much she has grown and how she has tried new things and just did a beautiful video on falling in love with Hatsune Miku. And wondered, what happened with that egomaniac that tried to take her down a peg? And it is so cool to know that while she has been rising he has only fallen deeper.

I remember watching his videos. And seeing his video on Jaiden. Even when I was younger and way less mature I was like “okay this is f-ed up” like she didn’t do anything wrong. everyone knew Jaiden is self conscious about stuff like that. And yes she’s kind enough to be open for feedback but using her most vulnerable video is not okay to joke around about and out her in a bad light for no reason when she has done nothing but bring positivity previously and until now. Really not the year for KZbinrs in 2024 eh?

I was playing video games while watching this, and I had to double take since I thought Daftpina somehow starting beefing with Tina Fey.

This video is super well made and explains things very well, but also take a shot every time a clip from any anime is used

I know this is late, but as someone who recently also had to go through the same surgery Daft had to go through, the pain does not excuse his actions at all. In my case, pain experienced before the surgery did not affect my personality or actions(minus activities like running). It is possible he could’ve been experiencing self-confidence issues, but it does not excuse his actions. Anyways, I’d thought I’d make this clear due to pectus excavatum not being known by many people. Keep up the good videos, Orange.
