Worth noting that the alternate dark timeline that Elsie Bray came from, Eris Morn turned Hive and got so strong she got consumed by the Hive, literally enslaved The Witch Queen to her will, and then helped the Witness either corrupt or kill us all. There was a lore tab showing Elsie's, well, her very angry reaction to Ikora when she learned Eris did the ritual at the start of the season. So that's another one of Ikora's driving worries, that Elsie's dark timeline is being setup to repeat itself.

Yeah, she was NOT happy about it. She yelled at Ikora about the fact that she warned them many times about this dark timeline, and yet they still went ahead with this crazy idea

BTW the ghost that is giving you intel on Savathun's plan is actually her own ghost. Immaru is his name, Ikora is keeping him hostage just in case Savathun needs to be resurrected.

Savathun's plan to keep the Traveler from the Witness 100% would have resulted in all humanity being sacrificed, yes the Witness would never be able to implement the Final Shape, but we'd be big dead when the big mad genocidal uber-god comes to our system and finds that there is no Traveler here. Eris Morn would become a despotic hive entity serving Savathun in Elsie's dark Trunks-style timeline, which is why Elsie is so mad that we're doing this. Of course in this scenario we're the Android 16, in Elsie's timeline the only thing that's different is that OUR guardian was never reborn, our Ghost never found us in the Cosmodrome for one reason or another and that's why Elsie approached us in D1 and led us along our path to confront the Sol Divisive Vex in the Black Garden. We're the errant variable.

Day 3 of asking Ken and Bethany to react to the indie, fanmade animated shorts for Donkey Kong Country called "Pirate's Scorn" and "Tip the Scale" by Alex Henderson Animation. These musicals are genuinely some of the best fanmade content that I've seen on KZbin, with full voice acting mostly by the former cast of an old Donkey Kong Country cartoon, and one could say animation amazing enough to rival studio-production. So many people poured their heart and soul into these animated shorts, and you can definitely feel the love and passion in this project, even if one is not entirely well-versed on the games. I think it would be right up your alley.
