Sub-Zero also has the canon experience of fighting at least 2 versions of himself and his brother...So there's that advantage too, still fun to see like-formed fighters from different games go at eachother. Doubt most of the MK cast would stand as much of a chance against Primal Rage foes

I think a bunch of characters can win against plenty of other fighting game characters. Mortal Kombat is the most brutal fighting game ever (by having brutalities / fatalities / fatal blows / X-Rays). Other characters (from other fighting games) seem ok with just beating / defeating you ..the MK characters can even kiIl you (deliver fatal blows) 😁 During a fight with an MK character the chances of them trying to find killing moves (on the opponent) ..are high.

It's kind of flip floppy. In the older games, they directly call them ninjas in-game, but Sub-Zero says the opposite in MK11. Different timelines, I guess?

They are a mixt. Assassins but dressed like ninjas too (or with ninja vibes) or doing ninja stuff too. Look at the Assassin's Creed video games too. They are assassins too ..but they also do some ninja stuff here and there (especially with the hiding or stealth stuff).

Doesn't matter for the result of the battle, but Death Battle really screwed up their calculations here. Which I don't blame them, thermodynamics is a pain in the ass to calculate correctly. What they failed to take into account was the heat capacity of the beam used for the temperature convection. I have a feeling they made their calculations through heat radiation instead of convection which is simpler, but gives very wacky results. In reality you can pretty much ignore radiation due to how weak it is. For example imagine a blazing hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. How close you need to get before you feel the heat from the cup when approached from the side? You almost need to touch the cup before you feel the heat. Now compare that to convection and approach from above, how close you need to get before you feel the heat from the water vapour? You can feel it real far away, that is the difference between radiation vs convection. The reason I say they couldn't make the calculation through convection is because we don't know what the heat capacity, (How much energy it takes for that substance to raise its temperature by 1 Kelvin) of the matter that makes up the energy beam is, which is a necessity for making this calculation accurately. Basically the heat capacity can be as high as we want it to be as it's made of unknown substance, which completely nullifies all this "below absolute zero" nonsense.
