That "Stop the Violence" shirt is literally from the Stop the Violence movement founded by rapper KRS-One in the aftermath of the killing of his DJ Scott La Rock. They did a song called "Self Destruction" featuring pretty much every popular NY Rapper from the era. Milk has previously worn Boogie Down Productions (KRS-One & Scott La Rock's group) and Public Enemy t-shirts if memory serves me correctly.

I think season 3 is the perfect time to give The Boys compound V. In the comics, they had powers right away, and it took the tension out of many scenes since their strain of compound V was rather powerful. The growing threats leasing them to taking compound V fits the show's narrative well in my opinion.

Some things you missed. SPOILERS FOR THE COMICS! 1. The scene with Hughy hiding is likely inspired by him hiding in the sewers after getting sexually assaulted by a hero in the Herogasm comic. 2. The 2nd scene where hughy gets his arm broken also happened in the comics by the same character but under different circumstances. 3. Soldier Boy also is going to be more brutal in the show compared to his comic counterpart who is a coward. 4. The scene with the guy jumping out the other person's body could be Swatto who is a member of Payback and can change his size.

I can’t decide if I like that the boys are doing compound v this season because I liked that the show differed from the comics. Part of me liked the power imbalance because it made it seem as realistic as the concept could get - that it would be impossible to get your hands on it. I’m excited for the season but I hope that there’s still a story as far as the retaliation of the boys v. the supes goes because I think a story of “We hit them and then we got hit, then we hit them…” is tiring.

I don’t know if you’ve saw or covered the Fox News parody Vought News Network’s 7 on 7, but a bunch of characters and plot lines were teased in it. There’s about 7 or 8 little episodes. The anchor, Cameron Coleman was in the trailer. Also there was a story covered about Termite (ant man parody) so it is very likely that the body popping out in that one shot is him. Real quick and call me crazy, however in the comics there is this teen hero team right? They mentioned it in the series as well. Payback (or at least soldier boy) gets introduced, maybe this teen team gets a little role? What if this ties in with the boyband that we saw? That's a pretty teen thing innit. Just spitballing of course.

I kinda want The Deep to go rogue and found his own vigilante group including Eagle The Archer, Love Sausage and Cindy (although he'd have to tread lightly around her considering his past misdeeds and general lack of tact, decorum, nuance or brains, or that encounter's bound to be short-lived).

Haha! Back when S2 was still in run, I thought it would be hilarious if Deep hit on her and got into a relationship before realizing she's a supe. Cindy's a hardcore emo, so that would be loads of entertainment watching him try to break that one off. Come to think of it, his history with Starlight, followed by the fallout he endured in S2...a relationship with Cindy would be dark comedy at its finest.
