The synth boost is exactly what this song needed to enhance the eery vibe and tone. The repeat effect on him saying "something" after the fibonacci moment is pure ecstasy. The ending swap into a live performance sounds unwelcoming to the ears at first, then all of a sudden just becomes acceptable almost in an instant, drawing you into the faster pace and finishing with a freakish scream that is appreciated for how it awkwardly fits so perfectly. Thank you for doing this for everyone. I'm sorry others aren't showing appreciation for this, but its likely their conscious just wasnt ready.

I always wondered why Frank's samples were so low in mix on the album version. The live version is what it should've sounded like. I remember as far back as 2006 when they first started playing it live, and Frank was playing his parts louder in the mix than the album back then. Pinkpop Fest 2006, for example.

Hello, thank you so much for your kind words! I would love to make your month but, unfortunately, I don't have the original file anymore :( I have two compromised solutions for you. The first is that you d/l this and the original from YT and paste them together. The second is to find the 2011 version of this, which has the synth boost in the chorus but the rest of the song is unchanged. Its not on YT anymore, the only person who might have it goes by the name of Mr Vesanic and has commented in this section, so if you find him you can dm a request. I also did find that file on soulseek, I'm not sure if it said 2011 version or not, but Vesanic was the user. That was over a decade ago, but worth a shot all the same

All the remastering was done in the 2011 version (not official) which boosted the synth in the chorus and bridge. I’m not sure how that was done, our friend may have had access to stems. I added a sample of a live version to the bridge, chopped up the vocals a bit and added the live bit at the end. All that was done using Audacity, nothing fancy

If someone manages to decipher it, they could re-record it and make an almost identical version.
