Getting some squash in the dehydrator now!! One question…does leaving the bag open for conditioning allow it to absorb moisture? I thought I’ve seen most put the product in the jar and place lid on (not so very tightly) and leave on counter, shake daily and check for signs of moisture before sealing.

I was going to ask you... do you have an older model of Cuisinart’s food processor? I’m getting ready to toss my blade set. Mine quit working. Would you like them? Not sure if it’s worth the shipping cost, which is all you’d need to cover.

I actually would not pay the money for the cuisinart. It is more difficult to use than a plain food processor in my opinion. Hi AG! Am I alone in suffering from Dehydration Hesitancy? I'm afraid after all that money and time that I have no earthly idea what to do with dried foods and that my family will hate the resulting foods.

If you don't know if you would use foods, or if your family will eat it, choose what you care to eat. Dehydrating isn't for everyone. Do you grow a garden? Then it is more likely worth the time to learn.
