Thank you so much. My brother had to move to a different state for work and was laid off. He loved the wilderness where he lived and decided to travel. I stumbled upon your page a few months ago and have finally convinced him to let me send him care packages of food. He loves them, and he still continues to do what makes him happy. This has lifted a weight off my shoulders because he isn't one to ask for help.

They both look like they could use an extra pot of food and some animal fat in their diet. Edit. My reply wasn’t to be mean. From this recent video they posted, they just look malnourished. You don’t need be a doctor, nutritionist, specialist to form an educated opinion. They obviously are using their body to the fullest. To me it doesn’t look like they are replenishing their nutrients.

Out of curiosity, why do you use ziplock bags as opposed to heat sealed foodsaver bags? Seems like that would be an easy backup in case your primary waterproof storage fails at any point by accident, and you could save a bit of extra space by guaranteeing no excess airspace is used up your storage?

I was thinking these meals would be great for elderly who have limited mobility. Their food would be right there, just boil water in a kettle, no stove necessary! This idea would be helpful even for our homeless, too, so they have quick food to eat that does not spoil. I'm thinking about so many other options.
