most kids on a football team know their place. they know if theyre a starter, back up, or dont even play at all. If youre playing a tough game like this one was and its coming up on half time and you dont have a single bead of sweat on your body... That's a pretty good sign of youre not going in. So at that point you can say " you know what fuck that kid, im going to keep wearing my pads on the sideline." or "hell yeah, the starting TE just got cleared mid game?"
