Really? One meaningless, lucky game? Take a look at the other 32 games he played in that year. He had a combined 0 HR's, 10 hits, 1 RBI and ended his 33 game comeback with a .173 AVG. Deion was a narcissistic piece of shit. It was all about him and he was a terrible baseball player.

A T Jordan also got swept out of the playoffs every year before Pippen. The year they won the title they won 57 games. The year after Jordan retired they won 55 games LEAD BY PIPPEN and was one BS call from going back to the Eastern Conference finals. When LeBron leave teams they go to the bottom. Dan Patrick is wrong when he says Lebron is bigger than Bill Russell was. Lebron is wider and stronger but not taller than Bill. In Bill’s day he was measured at 6’9.75 with socks on and Lebron measures at 6’8” with shoes on. If Bill was measured with shoes on he’d be close to 7’ tall. Bill also was extremely athletic, cat quick, and had big hops. On the Wilt Chamberlain Archive channel they have a clip of Russell jumping over a defender and laying the ball in. Never underestimate the center that won 11 titles in 13 years.
@Antbeast235 жыл бұрын
I mean lebron athletic freak of nature too. Comparing apples and oranges.
@jingqi91065 жыл бұрын
Marvin Santana When you measure players in bball shoes compared to barefoot, the player measured in shoes gains over an inch in height because of the shoes - fact. Bill Russell measured at a hair under 6’10” barefoot and with shoes on was over 6’11” - fact. Russell was in fact about the same height as Deandre Jordan and a much better player than Deandre. So, yes, Russell was closer to 7’ than 6’9” when you compare it to how players are measured today with shoes on. Russell also has a 7’4” wingspan and weighed 240 lbs without weights and the “supplements” modern players use to build muscle.

Kyler's only discipline issue at OU was over sleeping and arriving slightly late for practice. His mom came to see him and he over slept. Wow. He has taken ridicule over heir height and he saw the crap Baker went through over his height and hand size. While some players might be sheltered from criticism, Baker was certainly not sheltered from the press. Kyler, I think in large part due to his dad's influence, stayed away from giving people things to say about him. I am happy to see the mutual respect between Baker and Kyler. As a Sooner fan, we have witnessed 4 years of great qb play. Hoping Jalen makes it 5 before our young guys hit the field.
