The most suprising thing is how JF responded to the chargers first TD. Also how he responded to his int. Thats huge.
@mrnst7
@mrnst7 2 сағат бұрын
That was soo huge and no one is talking about It. The chargers were ready to take the game over our offense looked skunked and fields made It a game with that drive. Those are the losses we took last year where eventually the defense just gave in and accepted the loss because we couldnt come back from a one possession deficit

I'm not surprised at all if you know you know he just needed a real team to help him out he not all there yet but you see the growth since he been in Pittsburgh this short time unlike the Bears the Steelers actually are teaching him and doing the things that he is good at not what they want him to run all the plays are designed in the best interest of JF

@laterriathompson478 Im familiar with JF you made valid points. Fact is he's been awful in crunch time. I remember watching the bears play Denver last year. Jf was lighting them up but finished poorly.

Fields is definitely improving. He is reading the defense more and throwing it away if he doesnt see anything and taking a sack while not doing anything dumb when going down. His accuracy is getting better as well. If he goes 4-0 for the month of September, you gotta ride fields no matter a 100 percent Russ. Tomlin cannot duck fields winning if he goes undefeated for September. You gotta stay with the hot hand

I literally had tears in my eyes watching this game. And not because we played winning football but because I was absolutely impressed with Justin Fields. You literally see his progression. I love to see positive and talk positive about people, and we are witnessing the growth of Fields, and I'm absolutely proud. I know Justin now has an interception, but he didn't throw that it. In my eyes, he's still mistake free and is absolutely taking care of the ball. And as the season goes on, he's only going to get better and more confident. We grew up today, Steelers nation! I'm absolutely proud to say Justin Fields is QB1. Debate over! Oh, by the way, I actually been feeling like Jaylen Warren should be the starter, and Najee should be back up and put in different packages. Patterson looked good. I also said this at the beginning of the season that Nick herbig should start over Alex. I just feel his athleticism and speed makes him a better threat over Highsmith.

its just a decent amount of trade value so of course trade ideas will be pitched. There are benefits of having Russ back there but the way I see it is if we can get an equally or possibly more impactful player or pick from Russ, it'll be worth it.
