Najee came out 7yd run to start 3’d half but then Steelers went away from run game then JF throws a pick then it Seems like Herbirg set the tone in 2nd half after that bjg sack . And Steelers never looked back . Believe it or not wins is coming from run game they work the clock , gives defense a rest instead of constantly being on the field . It’s either Herbjg or Steelers D as MVP or the game

That’s a perfect takeaway, our Oline isn’t solidified enough nor have a solid WR lineup for me to be comfortable with Russ. Fields can extend plays, where Russ would lay down and take a sack. Until Fields has a VERY POOR first half, or gets injured, I’m rolling with Justin.

Hey Sperry, thank you for “Manning up” about the JF vs RW saga. As I have been saying from start that our offense isn’t good enough for RW current style. He is only 5’11” and needs passing lanes because he can’t see over anyone and isn’t anywhere near as mobile as he once was. At least with JF you get a 6’3” tall good athlete who can see over people and is very mobile. He can at least create opportunities with his legs, and he has a very strong arm. Now his accuracy and process speed are average at best. He has more upside than RW who will not be here next year. If the Baltimore ravens can win a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer, we can win with Justin Fields 🤘😎

You are way jumping the gun. Don’t be delusional. Question for all the JF-lovers. You say you want JF as your QB1, so are you ready to see Russ traded? Do you have THAT much confidence in JF? Mind you, Russ will never again allow a WR to be included in a trade for him. He made that mistake in approving TE Noah Fant to be included in his trade to Denver. Noah Fant isn’t Travis Kelce, but Russ really needed Fant. That alone could’ve improved his experience in Denver. Wherever he goes, he will want his weapons to stay. So, you can forget about Russ’s destination team sending the Steelers a WR in return because Russ won’t allow it. He has a no-trade clause that gives him veto-power over any trade he doesn’t want. That gives him power over the conditions. If he doesn’t like the conditions, he can say “no.” So, are you confident enough in JF that you’re ready to see Russ traded to the Dolphins or another contender for a future draft pick? Let’s say you get your #4 back. How good do you feel with JF firmly ensconced as your #1 for this season? That is the question you must ask. If you’re not comfortable, reserve your judgment and wait to see what Russ looks like. My guess is that he will blow JF out of the water, but you JF supporters are hard-headed.

This is one of my favorite Pittsburgh games in a couple years. Not because we won, but the way we won. We didn’t win because of special teams, but because of the amazing defense and the arm of Justin fields. I said earlier that we can’t have penalties kill drives, and they did just that. It’s incredible to see how much Justin has changed as a passer these past 3 games as well as the emerging big 3 pass catchers in this offense of Pickens-Freiermuth-Austin lll. I don’t see how you can possibly move off of Fields with much better he’s getting every game, and now being the reason we are winning games along with the defense

I think having Patterson out there in a H-back kind of role, Scotty Miller showing he is at least an NFL level WR, & having Jefferson on the bench is what gave Austin enough space to be productive in the very role they used him. It's pretty clear that they don't view Roman Wilson as being ready from a skill & reps perspective to get a helmet - & bc he didn't play special teams at all in college. He'll be a nice piece in '25, but he's not gonna a/the answer at that position either. The game that you get above average WR play from the non-Pickens WRs, there was space to operate like a normal NFL offense, who would have ever thought? lol

Great game summary and analysis, Jack! Steelers grade today = A. WWWWW One other thing to add, the score could have easily been 27-10 as the Steelers had first and goal at the 1 yard line and chose to run out the clock in the 4th QTR. Steelers coaches are a class act by choosing to run the clock out instead of scoring again. Najeh deserved the extra try though given his hard running all day. As far as starting QB, I’d give Russell Wilson a start when 100% healthy just to see what he’s got, nrings to the table. Odd QB situation to start the season, yet it’s worked out great for the Steelers! 🏈 🏆

During the first half of the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the San Diego Chargers, it was evident that the Chargers' defense was strong. However, the Steelers' offensive strategy seemed repetitive, with the same plays being called multiple times, specifically a sequence of 1& 2 run and pass plays that yielded little gain. This led to quarterback Justin Fields frequently throwing into traffic, potentially risking player's to injuries. In the second quarter, the Steelers continued with predictable play-calling, making it easier for the Chargers' defense to excel. Despite two 15-yard penalties against San Diego late in the third quarter, Pittsburgh failed to capitalize on these opportunities. Remarkably, in the fourth quarter, the Steelers gained momentum and ultimately won the game. However, questions remain about why they did not employ this successful strategy earlier. Overall, while Pittsburgh secured a victory, they could have leveraged their tight ends more effectively ealier throughout the game. Which still questions the Offense of Coordinator strategy. 🤔

Total disrespect by LAC coming into Pittsburgh thinking they were gonna walk out with a W by starting Justin Herbert. They actually had to face a really good defense and not garbage teams like Carolina and LVR. Should've started their backup and allow Herbert to get healthy. Now they are worse off than before with a banged up QB, relying on your backup to win games and going home with a big fat L 😂😂😂😂 Let's goooooooo Steelers 🖤💛
