No cause for a classmate that is going to amount to NOTHING in life; An investigator or a cop seems like a joke lol. In the MHA world while yes they were bias against the quirkless; they were involved in most if not all civilian occupations (doctors; teachers; scientists; lawmakers; support course etc). While Izuku got the brunt of the abuse; people like Melissa Shield and the researches from I-Island lived pretty happy lives. He would have ended up becoming a doctor; investigator; or police or a hero in the sense in any timeline regardless.

Melissa Shield and some researchers at I-island; then the doctor who checked on Izuku (he was quirkless at the time); I remember a police officer as well (it wasn't stated if he was quirkless but he didn't have a visible quirk)

@@harinirajesh9299 I just wish the show didn't gloss over those issues. Bakubutch told Izuku to commit suicide in the first episode. That, in of itself, is wrong. Not to mention the teacher smacks Izuku over the head when he's mumbling to himself. As a teacher, causing physical harm to get a kid to pay attention is NOT a good thing.

@@NexusGaming857 THIS. It would have been nice to see what exactly quirkless people were going through or how deep the issue was. 90% of what we know of quirkless people is speculation. I personally think that while discrimination exists; most quirkless people to tend to become proper professionals but since in Izuku's case the said discrimination was roots deep; it majorly affected how he grew up.

Speculation is all I have, but we know quirk-based discrimination is a thing. So, when someone DOESN'T have a quirk? Something that gives one value in such society. They're worthless, in the eyes of society.

I saw a similar au before where izuku became a famous investigateor and visited ua to talk about his job (he specifically talked to 1A and 1B) and he put bakugou in his place So what I'm trying to say is even tho a lot of people think this au is kinda sad because he acentally gives up on his dream i think it's still awesome that he decides to help people after all the shit he's been through and it gives me even more joy when he he becomes famous through that and annoys bakugou with it

A idea I just randomly had was, it’s kinda like the beginning of the main villain au where deku doesn’t get one for all and only talks to almight on the roof and he doesn’t end up where Bakugou was being attacked (for plot almight still save Bakugou) instead of being mad at almight deku realized that the hero society could use a lot of changes so he goes into policing and politics until he gets into a position to change how hero’s work (forgot the name of the thing) now that he’s on the inside over time he makes it easier for people with weak or no quirks to become hero’s and the way hero’s are payed it very different. It’s also harder to become a hero, in a sense. Instead of looking at quirks completely they would also look at personality. So people like Bakugou would have a much harder time. They would also have other tests for support type quirks and their would be different kinds of hero classes. Like fighting, tracking, under cover heros, search and rescue, and support types. Anyway this was just a idea people can us it and make it much better if anyone wants to. I just like the idea of deku trying to change the hero system in a friendly non violent manner.

I’m changing one thing I said, I said people like Bakugou would have a harder time but that’s not completely true they would fall under fighting quirks but a good amount of their hero training would be working on their attitude and how they see others. (No deku does not hate Baku in this au I just couldn’t think of anyone else really to put as a example.
