Del Boy Returns In 2024 | Only Fools & Horses Comedy

Great news that's sure to put a smile on all you "Only Fools and Horses" fans out there. Our favorite wheeler-dealer Del Boy Trotter is back on our TVs again after recently revealing his favorite episode - David Jason is back in the character for a one-off special! And the plot involves Del Boy restoring a car and putting it on eBay! Can you imagine how that goes?
Although it's not a full episode of the beloved sitcom, we're told Del Boy will be lending his iconic charm to an episode of the car restoration show "Car S.O.S."
But this is no surprise as Sir David Jason jumping into the Del Boy character has happened a few times recently.
In recent outings, Sir David Jason has given us some glimpses of our favorite sitcom. He even revealed his favorite episode as "Jolly Boys' Outing" in a recent interview.
If you've been watching the brilliant "David and Jay's Touring Toolshed," full of glimpses of Del Boy, like a nod to the way Del knows things when he isn't too sure, and what about a "Jolly Boys' Outing" nod here with the ice cream?
So what do we know about the new Del Boy clip? It's a "Car S.O.S." episode where he is helping with the restoration of a classic Datsun 240k Skyline.
We don't know exactly what kind of trouble he gets into this time, but knowing Del Boy, there's bound to be some hilarious "lovely jubbly" moments.
The show's host, Tim Shaw, is calling this a "surreal" experience and says seeing Jason slip back into character was "one of the highlights of his life."
Sir David Jason was also seen back in character at our recent "Only Fools and Horses" convention.
While this isn't a full-blown "Only Fools and Horses" revival, it's still a fantastic treat for fans. We get to see David Jason bring Del Boy back to life, even if it's just for a short sketch.
So, mark your calendars! The episode featuring Del Boy airs on "Car S.O.S." on National Geographic on March 14th. Don't miss it!

I wish they would stop bloody well doing this: building up our hopes with a glaring, attention-grabbing headling that "Del Boy is Returning!" - only to disappoint us when we read more into it and find that he is only going to be in a short sketch in some non-related TV show (like they did with the David Beckham Comic Relief sketch a few years ago). If you can't bring Del back PROPERLY in FULL series - or even in a one-off Xmas special - then don't bloody bother, for Gawd's sake! Stop building our bloody hopes with shallow promises.
