Speaking for myself, the true interest I have in youtube videos is more so to do with the individual presenter, than the actual topic, to be completely honest. Of course, if you combine in awesome content, it's obviously that much better, but I would still enjoy your videos if it was only you sitting with a cup of tea and chatting, like around a campfire with good friends.

Thanks Thomas. "Warts-and-all" with this one, no point in hiding the bad bits.. i wanted to show just how challenging and testing a bike project can be.. its 1% glamour and reveal, and 99% hard work and sweat... but to me that makes it all the more rewarding at the end.. and thats why im so looking forward to revealing the Fighter final video.. it'll be the culmination of 3 years work and far too much money..but when you can stand back and admire it.. it somehow seems all worth it.

Even though I do nuts and bolts most days at work and know the pain of rusty parts, I can sit here and still enjoy what you are doing and going through. It's not boring in the least as it's these little bits that make the project, at it's current stage. If it all came off super easy, that would be a very boring video. That's the one good thing about now living in Perth, WA - there is no salt on the roads and things don't rust or corrode like they did back in Scotland. My FZ1 is a 2007 model, 85000km and you could no joke, strip my bike in hours, nothing would cause you any grief, well apart from those silly little plastic buttons and clips, hahahaha

I've learnt shit loads from your videos. l thought I knew enough bout bikes, sadly no. But watching the processes you go through, and the little tricks (ie. bearing press and caliper piston removal trick) thank you, really thank you, you are a little rippa

That stainless looks so good. and you are right a lot of it is hidden. heck you could just do the rear of the pipe in some fashion. good stuff.

Re the seized exhaust hanger bolt, after 5 decades of working on rusty cars penetrating sprays will not free a rusted nut, the best approach is to wire brush the projecting piece of the bolt thread then apply a thin oil,this way if /when it moves rust isn't drawn into the threads. This saves a fortune on aerosols!
@Moonfleet41

In this instance David, the inner tube which is connected to a flange washer, was full of thick rust and seized, wasn't actually the nut that was that bad, all of these fixes are a work around aye?!

Your baby is coming along and since I'm a chrome guy those exhaust pipes look awesome but to each his own. Your videos are never boring I learn a lot from them. Especially about Rusty Nuts and Bolts and the items you use to loosen them up. I've never heard of KANO Aero kroil. I bought 3, 10oz spray cans and 1, 8 FL OZ Oil can. That will probably last me for a lifetime and for my children to LOL. Keep doing what you're doing and if other people find your videos boring then they do not need to watch you have a lot more positive viewers than you do negative viewers Penny and You Del Ride Safely and Have A Great Week.

Hi Paul, Thank you so much for that wonderful message, it's really encouraging and make it all worthwhile.. Great to hear you got hold of some Aero Kroil, it seems ot work really well for easing corroded fasteners art.. the best part is how little you need to use, so yeah, that order will probably last you a lifetime.. !! Have a great week mate, and thank you for the constant support and friendship... D&Pxx

Just a suggestion ,have you thought of anti fatigue mats on the floor ? Given the time you stood on a hard concrete floor . Rubber mats that clip together . Go steady .

Hi Del & Penny, Michelangelo took 4 years to paint a ceiling. Do you think he was concerned with the vicar asking him when he'd be done? Lol. You're creating your own masterpiece and it can't be a rush job. Every time you hit a snag I learn something new and useful. Looking forward to the next episode. .. Regards from S Africa Clive
