Why are we so emotional and sentimental that even in the presence of glaring evidence and superior argument, some people will still choose to continue in their ignorance. Dele farotimi did not present any evidence to back up his allegations, which could have been in form of voice recording, bank transfers, videos, text msg, huge stash of cash discovery e.t.c that incriminate all or any of those he has accused. The book is an evidence (exhibit)of dele farotimi's crime(defamation) against all this people charging him to court. Speaking as a former police officer and a practicing lawyer. The process followed already has rendered the case null and void in the eyes of the law. Half of provisions in the administration of criminal justice (ACJA) 2015) have all been violated by the state. I as a lawyer, if I take this case to court against someone, do you think it will be given this type of attention. I was a security detail to late Governor Diepreye Alameseigha of Bayelsa state, before I saw it earlier enough where Nigeria and her institutions were heading to I quickly resigned from the police and moved to Canada 🇨🇦.

If lagos government decide to go against the ruling of a supreme court, then hold that state government for the offence. Afe had the right to sue that manipulations and he did win. This whole situation just shows that DEMOCRACY in Nigeria is nothing but a SHAM! At most all aggrieved parties can file civil actions against Farotimi for libel. Farotimi expressed his views based on the information available to him. If anyone feels wronged they can have a civil discussion with Farotimi to make needed corrections. Farotimi has not committed any crimes by expressing his views. At a minimum Nigeria's constitution grants every citizen the right of expression.
