No you don't, in fact the Tiger E is one of the few tanks at 6.0 that's almost inmune to the 76mm gun of a Sherman if you angle. The 76 Sherman struggles against the Tiger E in a 1v1, in my opinion you basically have no chance. I say this due to personal experience, the Tiger E is my favorite heavy tank in the game and I also love the 76 Shermans. The T-34-85 is a lot more dangerous than the 76 Shermans if you are using the Tiger E, because that 85mm cannon can still penetrate your hull under 500 meters, even if you angle.

@@carlblack8574 I’m a 76 Sherman main, and while your points are valid, I find that tigers that actually angle are very rare, not to mention that even then, if they don’t shoot first, a Sherman’s stabilised gun is perfect for disabling them, I find the panther to be significantly more troublesome due to volumetrics, also don’t forget the new variant Sherman big turret, that 90mm is *mean*

I find that the stabilizer of the Sherman is only really useful at point blank ranges, it really comes in handy when you have to break the gun of a Tiger I. But if the ranges are more than 400 meters, then the stabilizer isn't really that useful against a Tiger I, good luck trying to hit such an small target like the muzzle brake at those ranges. I find that an angling Tiger I is a more dangerous foe than a Panther in a 1v1, because an angling Tiger I is basically inmune to your 76mm gun. Against the Panther you can always target the turret face, mantlet, cuppola or MG port... But against the Tiger I Ausf. E, you don't have many choices. Fighting a Tiger I Ausf. E that's angling is basically a death sentence in a 76mm Sherman, unless the fight takes place at point blank range, you won't penetrate the armor of that tank. That's why I fear the T-34-85 a lot more than the 76mm Sherman, the soviet 85mm gun is dangerous even against an angled Tiger I. The 85mm gun behaves like a slightly worse US 90mm gun against angled armor. There is always a hull weakspot that you can exploit if you are targeting a Tiger I with the 85mm gun.

It doesn't have the fat cupola which means your turret crew won't get deleted every 2 seconds. It also lacks the 2 grenade launchers on the corners, allowing you to properly angle without them blocking your gun
