Seat delete looks amazing! Also noticed your drivers window doesn’t drop when you open the drivers door, probably the micro switch in the door mechanism, quite a simple and rewarding job 😊
@HunterDirection Жыл бұрын
Im stoked you think so too! And yeah that window definitely needs a bit of diagnosis😅 I think there is more wrong than the micro switch sadly as it has some other isuses

Most of the case, for the window drop, it’s an electronic reset to do. There is a procedure, that you can easily find on the net. Drop the window completly, keep the buttons down twice, and same thing when close the window. Something like that, I don’t remember exactly. It happen most of the time when you unplug the battery. I do that often when I unplug my battery.
@lolfix101 Жыл бұрын
@@HunterDirection worth trying to reset the windows auto function first. push button to put the window down and when its down keep holding it for 10 seconds, then pull window up and when the window is up fully keep holding the button for 10 seconds. always works for me, wont guarantee it works for anyone else

Losing the charge pipe and that causes you to lose brakes, wtf that is insane and super unsafe. Imagine that happening on a freeway, canyon road, or at the track. I would try to fix that asap.
@HunterDirection Жыл бұрын
Right! The engine died right after the hose popped off so the car likely shut down for safety. I'm really glad it was on a deserted road and not approaching a corner. The parts to fix are on the way!

Still doing 40 with no brakes or steering. Any car guy would just go through the gears, then use handbrake if necessary. Just saying
@HunterDirection Жыл бұрын
True! The engine died with the pop so there wasn't any throttle either. I figured coasting to a stop was the play since I didn't want the car to bump start forcing it into gear without knowing what was wrong.
