I just love the audi tt in general. Mark 1, Mark 2, the 4cyl and the v6. They are all so underrated, and they are all fun. They also have their good amount of aftermarket support. Affordable, eye catching, underrated, reliable and fun. Not much more you can ask for from a car.

Yes, I agree with what you said about the TT, very underrated, I used to adore my mk1 quattro roadster 225bhp, used to corner like it was on rails and was fairly fast and reliable, I still miss it 😢

I think that the mk1 TT is definitely one of the best looking cars ever, especially the roadster, i used to have a mk1 TT quattro roadster 225bhp, i still miss it, awesome motor.

I had a 180hp mk1 Quattro manual in this exact color! Missed it so much! These older cars have the best feel, hydraulic steering, cable operated throttle body, parking brake

1:30 All VR6's are transverse from the factory, except for the Touareg, Phaeton, and Cayenne. The only ones I'm aware of anyway.

@@gasNmudtv That would be sweet but no, not from the factory. Many people have swapped a VR6 into the A4 but the 6 cylinder engines Audi used were all 90° V6 layouts compared to the VR6's 10.6° to 15° staggered layout.

This is such a strange channel cause you'd see videos with a hundred k plus views and then one with less than 10k(still a lot but not in comparison). I like it alot cause it always has the most unique cars on and isn't a copy and paste channel. I found the channel with the crazy caterham and found out I really liked it. Great video tho

From my research and people I've spoken with the 6-speed VR6 Quattro wasn't offered in the US or Canada. I've never seen one. Do you have any sources?? Would love to be proven wrong

Seating position in the LHD TT's certainly way higher than the RHD. I have at least 3-4 fingers lower of a seating position on my RHD TT than on the left hand one

The VR6 has been around since the early 90's my man. (B3 Passat and Corrado VR6). I think you meant to say that the 3.2L VR6 was first introduced in the Beetle RSI, MK4 R32 and later the MK1 Audi TT.

Ikr it's quite underrated both the mk1 and mk2. It's not even a rare car per se. It's quite affordable, but nobody knows about it, nobody buys it, so you literally never see it out on the streets.

That B5 Passat uses a standard 30v V6 with two banks, two cylinder heads, etc. Not a VR6.

This is a rebuilt and upgraded transmission as I mentioned. One thing I hadn't considered however was the break-in period for the clutches in the unit since it was recently built and installed. Not sure how much that played a role
