The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is a 1,350 km long, 8-lane wide (expandable to 12-lane) under-construction (partially operational). access-controlled expressway connecting India's national capital New Delhi to its financial capital Mumbai. The foundation stone for the project was laid by union minister Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on 8 March 2019 and is inaugurated by PM Modi.
The total project value including the land acquisition cost is around ₹1,00,000 crores

Last month's vlog from Heet Khabhar suggests that work on the stretch between Sawai Madhopur interchange and Laban interchange is very slow, there are several high tension lines to be moved and bridges to be completed. The vlog expects that it may be a several months or more for this section to be ready which means that the stretch between Sawai Madhopur and Kota is not likely to open officially this year. My estimate, looking at various vlogs, is that the DME between Sohna and Surat could be fully opened earliest by middle of 2025. And then to Amane (linking with the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway) probably by end 2025 and to JNPT is anybody's guess (full alignment yet to be finalised).

Sawai Madhopur to kota progress is almost finished stage..... but some km strach from khijoori to indargarh progress slow due to overbridges other wise Sawai Madhopur to kota work in final touches

Mai gujarat se hu, lekin tumhari baat per agree krta hu bhai corruption peak per hai, har chiz mai quality se compromise kiya ja raha hai even bridges in city fall often, gujarat next 10 years mai kafi down jayega agr aisa raha to

Agar swai madhopur se bhanpura tak chalu ho gaya toh bahut help mil jayegi. I have gone three times from feb to june sohna to vadodra and taken less compared to old route via ajmer / udaipur modasa kota vadodra. From swai madhopur to bhanpura all roads are four lane except mukendra hill 10 km and jhalawar bypass to bhanpura40 km is double but good road . From bhanpura to Thandla around 220 km is operative From thandla to Jhabua 34 km is a single but good road then Dahod to vadodra is fourlane. No issue brother. If some one wants to go no problem. But go in day time

Bhai package number 10 mai bahut kaam baaki hai, vo aap ne dikhaya nahi. Pkg 10 ke pura huye bina ye road start nahi hoga Gopal pura tak.

This expressway is a white elephant. 2000 vehicles not even cross toll plaza in 24 hrs from sohana towards dausa. Unless 10000 vehicles ply the maintainance cost will not comeup. For 200km ride toll is Rs70.

@@s9ka972 bro try to think from other side also. In Yamuna, Agra Lucknow and purvanchal expressway bike is allowed and they collect toll also . On other expressway in india bikes are not allowed. In Purvanchal small vendors can put up shop in rest area. In other expressways only one vendor in one rest area who can invest in crores. Trucks avoid as usual since overload not allowed. Delhi Jaipur taxi drivers avoid since they will not get commission and free food from dhabas. Only some personal vehicles, oil tankers marble loaded trucks, and few trucks ply everyday.. let's see after completion of mukundra tunnel vehicle no increases or not.

@@s9ka972 it is not poor or rich state policy . The irony is maximum land owners thought all over India that land prices will increase and they can put up shops for utilities. Now everybody understood that the expressways are barricaded entry exits are after 30 km . The land owners in between are not getting benefitted . This is the main reason farmers are on protest on acquisition in gujrat Maharashtra and Punjab. Bro everybody is after money weather he is rich or poor .
