I make the squidgy chocolate log every Christmas when my family comes over for boxing day. It’s become a tradition. One sitting, bam, gone!! Everyone *loves* it.

I have been virtually addicted to spaghetti carbonara and its many variants and adaptations ever since I first learned the recipe called "Spaghetti with cream, egg and bacon" in Delia's One is Fun aged 12. I made it for schoolfriends whenever they came over, including one (Ian!) who insisted on eating it with a knife and fork! The appreciation of the delicious flavour of a few simple, well cooked ingredients ignited my lifelong passion for food ever since. Thank you Delia.

I am 29. I got given my Grandma's copy of the complete cookery course in 2014. I did some recipes at school and got an A* for the recipes that I took from her books.

I’ll never forget the time I did her sticky toffee pudding and my teacher freaked out saying that the mixture was too wet- I then pointed out how the recipe even stated it would appear wet and it was to be expected - It was one of the recipients that got me an A* - probably because I knew it would work and I stuck to my guns.
