You did a fantastic job with your video. I’ve never made a baby blanket before or used baby fine yarn. I made an afghan for my daughter in law for her sister. I wanted to share it with you just don’t know how. Thank you so much for sharing with us. ❤

Amanda, you did it again. Another great pattern and tutorial. I’m getting better but I still appreciate you mentioning where to place the stitch markers. I think I have the perfect yarn in my stash for this. I can’t wait to start this project. 😊

Love the pattern, would like to know how would this look in stripes and for a boy. Thank you

I’ve made shell stitch blankets using blue, white and gray stripes and thought it looked really nice. I think this pattern works for either a boy or a girl. What colors would you use?

Do you have written instructions for this pattern? I am trying to write it down as you say it and it would be so much easier to just read the instructions.

Hi Amanda, I'm a new subscriber from Sydney Australia, Pam told me about you because I love the crocheted scarf she made and the pattern. I asked her where she got the pattern from and she told me about you. I look forward to make this blanket and learn the delicate shell stitich. Hugs

Pls can you show how to decrease and increase using this stitch ❤🙏
@AmandaCrochets3 ай бұрын
If you want your blanket smaller or bigger, you will change up your chain length. The chain multiple is 6+2.

At the border when you say turn your work is it turn to the next side or work from the back side of the blanket?
@AmandaCrochets7 ай бұрын
After each round of the border, you will turn your work meaning you will go in the opposite direction from the previous round.

I desperately want to make this blanket but I struggle with the shell stitch. After the SC, when I reach across to do the first DC of the shell, my yarn stretches and I get a gap/hole. Any advice to correct this?
