Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been learning how to cook via you tube because my mom doesn't have patience to teach me. Most of the dishes I've learned are Thai recipes because I haven't found any in Cambodian that I can easily understand. Thank you for speaking in English.

Helpful hint: When putting thick sauces or honey in the little bowls, pre-spray the bowls with Pam or any cooking spray. The sauces will slide out of the bowls and there will be no waste. Recipe sounds yummy.

I made this again today, I didn't put mine in the oven the first time around. I am going to do that today. Also I didn't add any salt because it's already salty with all the other sauces.

@c0nwa79 жыл бұрын
how do you make your sauce?
@ElissaKitchen9 жыл бұрын
Michael Lee Hi Michael for the yellow sauce. It's 1 cup of fish sauce, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup lemon juice, and some smashed garlic. The black sauce is just hoisin sauce from the store. The red sauce is my homemade chili paste (there's a video on it) and mix with a little bit of fish sauce. Hope this help.
@c0nwa79 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! Keep making videos I'm interested on learning how to make khmer food.

@ElissaKitchen2 жыл бұрын

@thomaslee30459 жыл бұрын
Why do you dip it in sauce when it's already marinated (with flavour)?
@ElissaKitchen9 жыл бұрын
+Thomas Lee When you eat with vegetables the meat tastes a little plain. The sauce gives different flavor and make it more tasty.
@thomaslee30459 жыл бұрын
Perhaps my taste buds are more sensitive. It's already full of flavour when I eat the Teo Chow way.
